The hotel was great, the servers all work very hard. Spice restaurant was great for breakfast and lunch. We got to know lucas, roberto, jose and javier very well. The buffet isn't open during the evening. Daniel was wonderful serving drinks around the big pool.

We thought there’s too many rules no food service at the pool no pool service at all. Dirty towels were left. Staff would walk by them and not take them away. Drinks were terrible very bad dining choices. All restaurants are located within the hotel. Only one is supposed to be waterfront, but has limited views.

We stayed at the Hilton Playa del Carmen in March of 2025. Overall we had a nice stay. The check in process was a bit slow as there were quite a few people arriving at the same time. Our room was in building 4. Which was quite a ways away from the beach and main pool area. It overlooked the “quiet pool” so if that is more your scene, I would recommend this building. Most of the rooms have hammocks on the balconies. Our room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed most of the restaurants, including Spice for all meals, Barefoot and Rincon Mexicano for lunch. The churro ice cream dessert at Ma Petrona was delicious. The staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the nightly entertainment.

Property was very clean, maintained and excellent staff and service …. The only thing they need is better quality entertainment nightly which was not available.. but being a 2 min walk to 5th Avenue made you go out there for that .

This Hilton property stay has been amazing! I felt safe. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. There were plenty of classes and activities throughout the day, every day. I had a blast taking part in the aqua classes, so much fun!! The location is PERFECT, being right on the beach, and also just steps away from the famous 5th Ave! 24 hour room service made food super convenient anytime we were hungry or thirsty.
