Our lovely, spacious condominium, equipped for four people, is perfect for your stay in Playa del Carmen. It is within short walking distance from everything you would hope to find including the beach, restaurants, bars, shopping and excursions. There is a convenience store right beside the condo hotel where you can buy the basics for your stay. There are 40 apartments within Pueblito Escondido - a 5 star condo hotel decorated in a Caribbean tropical style. The condo itself has a living area with a big screen tv, dining area for six people, and a full kitchen to make you feel right at home. The main bedroom has a king sized bed and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has two single beds with a shared bathroom. This condo is ideal for family and friends and has everything you need to enjoy your vacation whether your stay is for the short or long term. We invite you to enjoy the breathtaking rooftop terrace with an infinity pool and one of the best views of the Caribbean Ocean.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned apartment, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. There's a private balcony. We could not be more satisfied with our stay here. Check in was easy, the unit was clean on arrival, and looks as good as the pictures. The AC works well and kept us cool when we were indoors. We didnt bring the kids (although the ground floor pool is great for families) so the adult only rooftop pool was fantasitic. The infiniti edge pool was a prime spot for quiet relaxation. There were always open poolside loungers and covered cabanas available. During our time we never saw more than 4 other people up there. It also has amazing ocean views. We ended up spending more time here than the beach. The condo/hotel front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. They arranged our trip to the Tulum ruins and we had a blast. The condo is located on calle 38 the best street in PDC and the ideal location to be in walking distance from great restaurants, shopping, and just steps from the beach. The convenience store next door was also superhelpful for snacks, beverages, and forgotten toiletries. Karin was responsive to any and all questions we had and was always a message away. We would definitely return to this place and we can't recommend it enough!

We loved our stay at Pueblito Escondido. The condo has a great set up with comfortable everything and great amenities. The pools are beautiful and quiet with great views from the balcony to the ocean and from the rooftop 360 degrees. You are steps from the ocean and in the other direction steps from some great restaurants. The grocery store is a short walk. I recommend the pastries! In addition you can access a lively more crowded beach in one direction or walk the other direction to access quieter Coco Beach. The very best resource was Shay at the front desk who set us up with some great tour options for snorkeling and cenotes with all the info needed to have a fun, easy day out exploring. She is the best! We would stay here every time. It's really in an amazing walkable location in Playa del Carmen. Close enough to access everything but buffered enough from the explosion of tourism that has become the main part of town. Communication with the hosts was great. They were very quick to respond to our questions and needs. 5 stars!

I really want to be truthful with this review. Location is the best. Walk to all the restaurants Upon our arrival the balcony was a complete mess Pizza and pastries all over the couch and floor The water dispenser was completely empty. We had to wait a full day and a half to get water delivered ( we were told they were on the way numerous times. The first time I was in the shower and missed them. When I plugged the hairdryer in the master bathroom it shut off all the power to the condo same in the smaller bath. So I could only use dryer in the small bedroom The power went out (city problem) all our food in the refrigerator had to be thrown out. The toliet broke in the master bathroom and we had to use only one bathroom (on the weekend) I asked for the host to compensate some refund and she refused. I asked for 200 which I thought was more than fair. As this was the service charge Not the rental rate or cleaning fee. Also upper pool area elevator stayed shut down for days (rain off and on) The pool area lower level didn’t have chair pads until our last two days. The wooden chairs were too hard The front desk is very nice

The spacious condo was 30 feet from the best beach in town. The rooftop pool was amazing with sweeping views of the coast, and the tree lined neighborhood makes the place extra pleasant when the days get a bit hot. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else if I’m in Playa del Carmen again.

Perfect Location

Reviews are accurate! Prime location! Easy to get to wherever. Opposite end of ferry but before you know it you are there! The beach right to the left is perfect! One of the better ones if not the best one for the area! We will stay here again! Great communication and check in was super easy! Highly recommend!

Karin was very responsive with communication. (Took off a star for main bathroom toilet area. It smelled. Just needed cleaned better and possibly move the covered trash can from beside the toilet to in front of toilet so it stayed cleaner. Minor issue.)

Fabulous condo in best location

We stayed here for a week in January and it was more wonderful than I anticipated! The condo was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect; lots of restaurants on our street and all the action of fifth avenue a quick walk away. We would stay here again.

Perfect family spot

Just perfect! We had never done a VRBO outside the US and this was a great experience. The condo was perfect for our family of 4, with two teens. It was exactly as described. Check was easy, staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Location worked great. So many restaurants, stores, beach, and activities within walking distance. 100% recommend staying here.

Perfect Getaway

My 3 friends and I spent a wonderful week here. The condo is comfortable and exactly as described/pictured. Steps from the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. Very safe walkable neighborhood. We also spent a lot of time at the rooftop pool. Communication with the owner was excellent. We had a couple questions while there and she responded immediately. Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was perfect. Beautiful view, nice pools and amazingly quiet considering the location. Like a little haven in the midst of the bustle. 2 min walk from the beach. You can see the beach from balcony and roof top pool. You can even order from restaurants below to roof top. Host supplied beach umbrella, cooler and beach chairs which was awesome. Unfortunately it took us awhile to discover some of these things. My only complaints is I wish a few more basics were provided....like sugar and oil.

Don't look anywhere else

Although this Condo is not one of the Flashy new accommodations that are abundant around this area, it is traditional in design and provides everything, in abundance you need for your holidays. Everything you could need is provided by Karin, she keeps in contact with you whilst you are there, checking if things are ok.The rooms are more than ample in dimensions.Spotlessly clean.Yards from a lovely beach and the view from the roof top infinity pool is amazing. This Condo is also situated on Calle 38,what is now a very upmarket street, off 5th Avenue,many restaurants are dotted amongst this tree lined Avenue to the Beach. Check it out on "You Tube".

Almost Paradise

My wife and I stayed at this location for a week in mid March and we were so happy we did. This property was perfect for us! The location is great, just steps from a public entrance to the beach and a very short walk to 5th avenue were most of the shops, bars, and restaurants are located. There are plenty of restaurants nearby that we could chose from, several at the entrance of the condo that would even deliver to the room or pool side. We went to the rooftop pool daily and it was never crowded and often we had the pool to ourselves. The staff was perfect with checking us in and handling any needs we had. The parking garage was small and limited and I would not suggest anything bigger than a mid-size car. The garage area does stay locked. The unit was spacious and very well equipped and the balcony was a special treat to enjoy our morning coffee. The only criticism we had was my wife and I felt the living room furniture and the king bed were a little uncomfortable. Although I did not have any issues sleeping. We never heard any noise from outside, even when one of the corner restaurants had a St. Patrick's day party. This is the perfect place for rest and relaxation in the quieter area of Playa Del Carmen and 5th avenue. I wouldn't suggest staying here if you are looking for a party central place to go bar hopping, maybe closer to the ferry pier would be more desirable. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to PDC. Thank you Lillian, Karin, and Leo.

Great condo in an amazing location

The experience was just as described in the booking. Spacious condo, rooftop pool, great access to the beach and steps from all the restaurants and shopping! I couldn’t have found a perfect place to stay for my birthday. Owner was responsive throughout process and even with a hiccup upon check-in quickly responded to get resolved. I would booked again and highly recommend for anyone looking for a full playa Del Carmen experience that is literally at your door stop.

Nice Condo but beach was not as expected

Nice condo. When we first checked in the desk manager had no record of us coming. Apparently, miscommunication as no one had told the building of our upcoming stay. Had wished owner/manager had provided some more welcoming items like soap/coffee grounds. We were disappointed to learn that the tide had come up and eroded most of the beach by this property. Don’t expect a large beach when visiting. Owner/manager said after I questioned her beach listing that the amount of beach area varies by season/tide etc. During our stay we also had no access to the rooftop pool as they were working on staining the deck. Disappointed.

Fabulous building and location in Playa

My mother and I had a fantastic time at Karin’s property. I have been to Playa del Carmen for 20 years, but only recently started renting apartments. The apartment is beautiful and spacious. Everything was very clean. The building staff is excellent and helpful. Karin and her assistant in Playa were responsive. I would definitely return again. Pluses: large master bedroom, two nice bathrooms (one en-suite), large living room/dining area, kitchen/terrace. Beach chairs available. Lots of dishes, pots, and pans if you wish to cook (we didn’t cook). Beautiful infinity pool on the roof for adults-only. Perfect location. Quiet and safe. Close to everything. My suggestions rather than cons for the owner: simple instruction sheet for amenities, terrace door lock not easy to close, some items left for guests (small garbage bags and a few cleaning items, maybe half a bottle of water on the water machine), electric tea kettle since I couldn’t seem to get hot water out of the water machine. The building: roof top needs more umbrellas for shade. Huge space and only 3 umbrellas. The chair cushions need to be removed when it rains or changed to prevent mold. Outside of Karin’s apartment there is no automatic hallway light and it is very difficult to see when you return to the apartment (dark corner). I had to ask the building to fix the hallway light which only went on in the evening. Thank you Karin for our lovely time!
