I contacted both the hotel and Expedia five days before my scheduled stay to request a date change. Instead of giving a timely answer, there was five days of back-and-forth messaging, and I was only informed after my original check-in date had passed that my request could not be accommodated. As a result, I was denied both a refund and a date switch—despite reaching out well in advance. This was not a policy issue; it was a communication failure. I’ve stayed at this property over 10 times in the past and previously had excellent experiences, which makes this especially disappointing. The lack of timely communication and refusal to work toward a reasonable solution reflects very poor customer service. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be returning.
