Not a good hotel for traveling families.
Bad evening check and Bad morning check out. We checked in between 11pm and 12am.
Essentially no evening check-in service. A very kind, polite and well intentioned nighttime auditor is put in the uncomfortable position of not having been trained for anything other than a handoff of room keys.
In other words, not prepared for 3rd party(Expedia) check in process. Also, given the timing of our arrival, we asked for a later check out and were instructed to check in with Front Desk in the morning. We were then refused late check out in morning because all of those requests were “full”. Turns out you had to call promptly at 7am … but that defeats the purpose of getting to sleep in a bit after a late check in. We didn’t need a lot, maybe an extra hour. The morning desk clerk had difficulty in kindly delivering the news of no late check out for our travel weary family.
The owner of this site has made business decisions (no trained evening desk staff) that puts travelers and staff in compromised situations. Summary: travelers are better off avoiding this hotel at the same or greater cost compared to others and there’s no telling what other corners are being cut.
