Great location, Spacious, Spotless Rooms

We were in Pittsburgh for a long weekend to see friends, enjoy museums, restaurants and shopping on the Strip. We chose this hotel primarily because it offers recharging for electric vehicles, also because of its convenient location and kitchenettes in rooms. Staff, especially housekeeping,are friendly and rooms are upgraded, spacious and clean. We enjoyed the views from our corner room but would have liked to book a suite with a separate bedroom, not available at the Hampton Inn. My husband was happy with the standard Hilton breakfast and I appreciated the coffee available 24/7 in the lobby. We did make a suggestion that the hotel should put notices on non-electric vehicles parked at the charging station, since there are only two chargers. Our stay was very pleasant!

Everything’s Right!

Here’s a Phish tale about a family of Canucks who love to descend on The Burgh and its three rivers at least once a year, to catch a Pirates game and a ride on whatever other world-class event is happening here at the time. The Hampton Inn Pittsburgh Downtown is our must-have cavern. Each time we’ve found it to be a life beyond the dream. This week we were here chasing Halley’s Comet. Didn’t find that, but found Holly in a starring role at the front desk (effervescent and ever pleasant) and then, to our great delight, also underneath a sea of stars at The Main Event. (If you don’t understand this reference, then you’ve been casting your line in the wrong river.) Pittsburgh was hot during our four-day stay. Hot enough to split open and melt. But we wook up every morning well rested and ready to take on the day. The hotel room was a rightful cavern: both expansive and a supremely fine place to stash our stuff for party time — and a comforting place to nest at night after a full day exploring The Burgh. What comes readily to mind-mind-mind-mind-mind about our experience here is that everything’s right.

Hotel is super clean and updated. Staff is amazing, friendly, and professional. Every single staff greeted me with a smile and acknowledged me. Breakfast was really good and had great food options. Housekeeping was amazing especially Dani. I look forward to staying here again. 4 minute walk to Amtrak and about a 20-25 minute walk to PNC Bank Park.
