The front desk staff were very rude. We were traveling with 2 disabled children and were inquiring about an early check in but before we could ask the staff member cut me off stating that 4 pm is check in. He may have been stating policy but the way he spoke to me was disrespectful. We went to the convention and when we returned around 1pm I approached the front desk and the lady stated there are no rooms ready and check in is at 4pm.I sat in the lobby. My daughter come into the hotel about 5 minutes later and asked if we were getting an early check in and I stated let it go they were already rude to me twice. She approached the guy at the front desk and ask for early check in. He stated we have no rooms ready. She stated ok but my children are autistic and nonverbal and they may scream and run around while people are coming in and out. He stated I have your 2 rooms ready. He went from no rooms to 2 rooms ready within a minute. There were rooms ready and available for early check in but they were just being rude. I paid for the rooms but will NEVER stay there again. You 2 were so disrespectful to 2 kids that have disabilities, it’s already stressful for the kids and the parents.

Another great stay at our favorite Pittsburgh hotel. We really enjoy the large, clean rooms, free parking and breakfast, and easy check in and check out. The location is great too, right across from the Heinz museum and a short commute to the point, the strip, and downtown. My only minor complaint is the lack of variety available at breakfast, but the food offered (omelet, oatmeal, waffles) was delicious! Will be staying again!
