Pearly & Lois is a family home fully renovated in 2023. It holds cherished memories of family gatherings and is now waiting for you to add your own when visiting the Brevard area, Pisgah National & Dupont State Forest.

Located on the bank of the Davidson River, guests can view those fly fishing or anglers can reserve their own private spot through Davidson River Outfitters. Public access to Davidson River is approximately a mile upriver just inside the Pisgah National Forest.

Pearly & Lois is the perfect vantage point for biking the area or those looking to hike or mountain bike. DuPont and Pisgah trailheads are only a short distance away.

After a long day of hiking, biking, fishing or exploring the area, our cozy bungalow offers all you will need to rest, relax and re-energize for your next adventure.

We had a lovely stay! Clean house and nice amenities. Cute front porch with short for reading, lovely back yard with relaxing views including horses and donkeys. The mud room with full washer dryer was a definite plus! The bungalow is across the street from a beautiful stretch of the Davidson River but you cannot access it, which is a bummer. Fishing tips! Luckily we had organized a full day on that (privately owned and posted) 3.5 miles of water with a local outfitter so we got to fish it one day. Worth it! But if you're thinking of picking up a pole and hitting the waters for some fly fishing out the front door, you'll be hiking several miles in order to do it. Or driving into the(very close!!) Park entrance for some accessible water.

Our stay was truly special. The house was incredibly cozy and welcoming, and it brought back such warm memories of my childhood. There was something about the atmosphere that felt comforting and nostalgic, like being at home in the best way.Everything was clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully prepared for our arrival. You can tell the host put care into every detail to make guests feel comfortable.It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, and we really enjoyed our time there. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful and charming stay. I would happily come back again!

Pearly and Lois is so wonderful, I almost want to keep this location secret! Opening the door is a step back in time (but with modern amenities). Connie's eye for decor is on par with Country Living or Better Homes and Gardens magazines. The kitchen was fully equipped with fridge (vintage look, and smaller than a full size fridge, but plenty of room for all your food needs). Microwave has air fryer capabilities. Two kinds of coffee makers (drip and k-cup). Beds and pillows were comfortable. Shed outback was a favorite for our kids to hang out, read, or play games in. Front porch is lovely in the evening while watching the sun set.We hiked in Pisgah National Forest (just down the road!) every day, and there is more exploring to be done, and more parks nearby.Shopping, antiques, and thrifting is also hot in Brevard. Connie is a wonderful and courteous host. We are blessed to have spent time in her rental.Stay at Pearly and Lois (except when we want to return); you will fully enjoy your vacation!

You can tell from the photos the house is adorable and the decor is so sweet but somehow it’s even cuter in person. Sometimes with smaller homes on Vrbo the living room furniture is not comfy or the linens are cheap but literally everything here was luxurious and comfortable. Do yourself a favor and make time to sit on the front porch - we saw a bald eagle fishing and a great blue heron defending her nest. Oh and it’s five minutes from town!

This cozy bungalow was a true delight! It has a functional layout and is thoughtfully decorated. When we weren't exploring downtown Brevard, DuPont State Forest, and Pisgah National Forest, we were playing board games, reading, and just chatting in the calm ambiance of Pearly & Lois. Highly recommend for a couple or maybe a family of four.

We had the perfect, most relaxing weekend getaway to Pearly & Lois. Very convenient to downtown Brevard, grocery stores, and of course the Davidson river right across the street! We had everything we needed to cook and did not have to leave the cottage til checkout. We loved the vintage kitchen and raved about the farmhouse decor all throughout. We will definitely be back for another Girls Weekend.

The kitchen was perfect for a week long stay. It had all the tools and dishes we needed. We cooked plenty. It was very easy to use everything. The home decor was chosen with such an expert eye - it was clean, and so fitting for the area. It felt cozy and not overdone. We found the home so easy to stay in and would definitely come back again. This is the most comfortable Vrbo I’ve ever stayed in!

We absolutely loved our stay! The home was clean and comfortable. Even though they have neighbors, you would not know it. Quaint, quiet home and neighborhood. The location was perfect as well. When we go back we hope we can stay here again at their cottage.
