The cabin is located in an area with other cabins nicely spaced and a big wooded back yard with a fire pit. The fire pit area is not flat enough to put chairs around it but there is a picnic table. The cabin was fantastic for our friend trip of eight. Plenty of room for everyone. Though I wished we were closer to Winterplace but not bad overall. The nearby State Park is a nice convenience
