Rustic knotty pine walls, post & beam construction, massive rock fireplace accent the spacious great room. Upgraded kitchen with open-faced cabinets, pot rack, island work center. 2 bedrooms on main level, 1 with an ensuite bath. Owner's retreat is the loft with sitting area, desk/workspace, & beautiful bath complimented by clawfoot tub, dual vanities, shower & slate floor. Inviting covered outdoor living space with another wood burning fireplace, propane firepit, dining & sitting areas. Private relaxing in deck hot tub with views of the backyard. Front deck wraps fully around to rear deck that captures awesome mountain views & sunsets. 2-car garage with custom doors, terraced & landscaped fenced backyard. The garage is set up with a Pool Table, Ping Pong Table and Foosball table to provide hours of entertainment along with Horse Shoes and Tetherball in the backyard. We recently installed an EV Charger (Juicebox 32) which available to those that are in need. There is a professionally monitored security system in place and cab be used during your stay. In addition to smart locks and thermostats, there are 5 Outdoor security cameras (including a doorbell camera) protecting the property and 1 camera in the garage. For your privacy, there are NO cameras inside the cabin and there are NO views of the hot tub area. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns regarding our security system and cameras. Overall rating: Incredible & WOW! I am a very picky renter always looking for homes with comfortable seating arrangements inside & out (but mostly outside), quiet area to just hear wind through the trees & views. This home went beyond my expectations & will definitely be back again (many more times!). I "never" even sat in the living room, cooked on the gas stove in the kitchen or ate at the dining room table in the house-the entire stay! I lived in their awesome outdoor living room, cooked all meals (even breakfast) using the grill & enjoyed meals outside (main dining room area as well as smaller patio table on deck). I have NEVER found a home like this that fulfilled all my expectations. As you can tell I love the outdoors, but lets talk about inside. The home was very clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, had all kitchen items you'd need & views. Also, complete silence! No cars driving by (less a few neighbors but never really heard anyone), stars at night, enjoyable hot tub after a day of hiking and as I have already raved about incredible outdoor areas & comfy seating everywhere you looked! Oh, bonus is the garage is a mini game room - loved spending family time playing Jenga, foosball, pool & ping pong! Another bonus if you have a dog is the decks are all gated along with the yard being fenced! Host if fantastic, getting back to me quickly, left a wonderful Mothers day gift for me & was able to be flexible offering me a Mothers day late checkout!

This is our favorite place to get away from the valley and be in the pines. The home is warm, wonderful, with the absolute best gathering areas (think very “I’m in a hallmark movie” vibe with the adorable outdoor fireplace and dining areas) and the most comprehensive supplies I’ve ever encountered in any VRBO, anywhere. The owners are accessible, kind, and attentive when you have a question or a need. We were wanting to come a little early because it was going to be a big snowstorm the night of our arrival, and the owners were kind enough to allow us to come as soon as the cleaners were done preparing the home. We had our dogs with us and wanted to be all settled in before the snow came. Being desert dwellers, the idea of a ton of snow was exciting and a little intimidating! But the house had lanterns and a generator in case anything were to happen (it didn’t, the snow was moderate and by Sunday am most of it had melted). We have stayed here multiple times over the years and love this place more every time we stay. There is a magic about it and the owners have paid attention to every detail, which means you as a traveler don’t have to do anything but pull up with a suitcase. And then have the most relaxing time ever. Thank you Nick and Terra for the best escape to the Pines!!

The Dancing Bear Lodge is a beautiful, unique, most relaxing home that we have ever visited. From the outdoor lounging area, with a beautiful fireplace, hot tub, and view of the elk which roamed about a 100 feet within view, it was just perfect. We can’t wait to stay again. It felt very romantic for me and my wife. I highly recommend this home. Pine in a very unique, friendly place to visit.I recommend trying the pizza at old country Inn. One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my life. I highly recommend the dancing bear in for your stay.

Best place I think we’ve ever stayed! They had everything you could possibly want for a long weekend in the mountains. We came to watch the Super Bowl and celebrate a birthday and it was just the perfect place to stay for both. We used the hot tub every night! The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfy, lots of spots to relax and recharge. I’ll be recommending this lodge to everyone I know!

Everything was great!!! The kitchen was well supplied. All the Christmas decorations were great and made it feel homey. The backyard is perfect for pets, our dog spent a lot of time exploring, she actually wanted to hang out on the wraparound deck. The outdoor patio was great, even though it was December we were able to close the curtains and keep the heat in. We rent up in Pine almost monthly and this was by far the best place we've stayed at. We all felt Nick should write a book on how to be a host, everything was that perfect.
