Located in La Junta, Holiday Inn Express La Junta by IHG is in a rural location, within a 5-minute drive of Arkansas River and Otero Museum.
This is the second time I have stayed here and I cannot sing their praises enough. The staff is incredibly personable and helpful, the room is very updated, comfy pillows, great bathroom lighting, and the breakfast is delicious.

Located in La Junta, La Junta Inn is a 3-minute walk from Picketwire Dinosaur Tracksite and a 4-minute drive from Koshare Indian Museum.
The "grab and go" breakfast was a bit of a letdown. There is a restaurant on site, but not open for breakfast. Also...no indication on Expedia that the indoor/outdoor pool pictured on the hotel's page is under renovation....has been for some time, no indication from Staff when it will be operational ...
