The room was excellent and large with everything you need walk out to the pool and restaurant as well as the beach we really enjoyed the 6 days we stayed and would recommend it to everyone and would definitely stay again.

This was a great stay on Kamala beach area, well run establishment with pool & restaurant & helpful staff. Great location with convenient shops in the area- all u need and tours as well. 1st hotel establishment I stayed at : did not provide in-room coffee which is a common staple in all accommodations.

We had 15 days staying in Kamala Dreams hotel It was a fantastic holiday the spacious beautifully serviced (every day) room with the superb pool (with a spa) just 2 meters from our room an excellent breakfast every morning the property had been recently refurbished and is in great condition Jan the manager really knows how to run and manage the hotel and was extremely helpful and excellent to deal with thanks Jan for making our stay so enjoyable we will be back again Murra and Annette Guyton New Zealand

Very well situated surrounded by many restaurants, shops, massage places, excursions shops just in front of it. Workers are cheerful and very helpful. Listen to clients needs. Jan, the owner of the place is a very nice and efficient person. I frankly had a wonderful time. I will go back with a great pleasure.

Ask for the beach view room!!!

First off I'd like to write that Amy (the owner's daughter), is an AMAZING hostess and manager! I worked in the hospitality business for 17 years of my life at The Plaza Hotel in New York City, what this family owned establishment showed me was just phenomenal. Jan, the owner was MORE than one can expect (he knows my slight problem while I was there) and was an absolute help in accomodating me. Will I return??...OH YES I WILL!!! Thank you all at Kamala Dreams, Jan and Amy...I THANK YOU BOTH even more!!

I picked this hotel because I liked the location. Right on the beach and with a pool. My initial room was a bit noisy and also I could smell the food from the kitchen but I was moved into a better one the next day. Good things about the hotel are location (although I now prefer the other end of the beach which is quieter and doesn't have the smelly storm drain right outside) and the staff and management were friendly and helpful. Downside is that the entrance is through a not very attractive restaurant right on the road.

Right on the beach

This hotel is a little dated, with no safes in the room (although you can use the individual ones in hotel office). Air conditioner is off when you take the key and as only one key is available - this is inconvenient. That being said - we loved the hotel. Huge room, big balcony overlooking the beach, beautiful family run buisness....recommend.

Great Location but in need of a refurb.

The location, first off, is great. Right next to the beach and also close to shops restaurants and bars. It has a nice little bar and restaurant out the back on the seafront which is great for having a beer and watching the sun go down, the food is nice too. I also must say the staff are really accommodating, I extended my check out from 11am to 4.30pm and there was no charge. Whilst my room was large, the decor was dated though and the shower didn't really drain that well and there was a gap in the window which allowed in mosquitos which was not welcome.

The owner is so friendly and was interested in us having a fun time. He answered any questions, plus comes with free breakfast. Worth the price for the location. Right on the beach. Cute little beach town.

Had a great time, staff was awesome!

Stayed at Kamala Dreams for 16 nights and it was great. Perfect location for Kamala beach and Kamala night life. Hotel and Restaurant staff were very nice and friendly. Breakfast was tasty and a nice way to start each day. Rooms were comfy, but noisy neighbors can easily be heard. Balconies are not very private, but comfortable with a nice view of the beach and the longtail boats in the water.
