The Space:

You will receive a gate code to the property gate, a keybox code and a physical key, and a driveway gate remote control. You will have complete private access to shade outdoor patio, one-car off-street gated parking and your own 1-bedroom detached residence.



Guest Access:

Phoenix Sky Harbor is 3 miles away. Entertainment options just a few blocks away as you cross 7th street in downtown phoenix. The house shares a rear alley entrance with two of Phoenix's most popular eateries; Gallo Blanco and Welcome Diner. Phoenix Light Rail is a 15 minute easy walk (or 2-minute Uber) to the 12th street and Washington station. If you're driving, we provide one free on-site parking spot. For a second car, there is ample and well lighted on-street parking is available just a few feet from the property on 10th street, McKinley, as well as E. Pierce streets.



Getting Around:

For Ride Share and Taxi, it best to have the driver pick you up at Gallo Blanco, 928 E. Pierce Street. Light Rail is a 15-minute walk to 12th street and Washington station. If you're walking into downtown Phoenix, take Pierce Street west toward 9th street. Walk .2 miles and turn right onto E. Fillmore Street. Use the crosswalk to cross 7th Street. 7th Street is a busy thoroughfare the separates the Historic Garfield District from Downtown so please be cautious.

Interaction with Guests:

I live in the main house, so I am accessible in emergencies, but I mostly try to give my guests space. The guest house is designed to be separate and private, with a self-checkin that allows guests to come and go as they please. While this property is very convenient to downtown, we are located in a residential neighborhood, and my primary residence shares the property. We respect reasonable quiet hours from 10PM to 8AM. Please choose elsewhere if that's not the vibe you're looking for.
There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. The bathroom has a shower and a hair dryer. Conveniences include a desk and a microwave.

Very comfortable space with gated parking. The hosts were easy to contact and responded quickly to all inquiries. It was a short stop for us, but we would happily stay at this property for a longer visit to the area.
