The property is in a fantastic location for visiting the historic sights. The rooms are comfortable and appointed with everything you may need. Although the property is dated in carpeting, walls & other surfaces it appeared to be well maintained and safe. It was a great value for our visit and worked well for us.

The staff, especially in the restaurant, was friendly and excellent. The room was clean, well attended, and I could adjust the temperature. The location was wonderful for walking in the historic district. Breakfast was great -- I loved the server and hostess.

Stayed for two nights. Staff on reception were poor when checking in. Basically handed a room key over and left to work it out. Main reception and dining area is nice, but a front for the really poor rooms. Our room was filthy. Under beds had food and dirt on carpets. Bathroom had hairs on floor etc. Willing to tolerate it due to spending most of our time out of the hotel. However. Second night we were unable to sleep at all because of a dog left in a neighbouring room. Dog howled most of the night. Spoke to reception who had already received complaints from other guests. Did absolutely nothing about it. Policy is for no pets unless for aid. Clearly not a support dog when left unattended. Staff were appalling. Philadelphia was amazing but would definitely not stay again.

Love this location

Second time here and honestly everything about this location is lovely. Everything aside from the sheets and the bed. Luckily we come to the city to do a lot of visiting with friends and family and spend little time in the room.

The parking garage was 75% under construction yet they still charge paying hotels guests to park there and don’t even give priority to the hotel guests. This was a big negative. The elevator needs you key to work but the buttons need servicing and you can get stuck on the elevator. The entire building is very old and had a superficial cosmetic upgrade for on the surface at a glance appearances. The breakfast they is expensive considering it is usually what is offered at most hotels as their included continental breakfast. We walked around the corner and supported a small local cafe on our way to the sites.
