The room was not very clean when we arrived. There was hair everywhere on the bathroom floor. After the third day I had to leave a note for the housekeeper to clean the bathroom floor for us

Everything was terrible Staff unfriendly Ammenities were terrible Nothing available I Asked for plastic utensils, didnt have Asked for plastic or paper plates, didnt have Asked for a wine glass, didnt have A strike by employees all weekend long, could get rest I asked how long the strike was going to be, the answer was a piece of paper with only hotel information Last day i was there, i went to get coffee in the morning. I was told i had to pay for it. $5.00 This has been the worst hotel ive stayed in and the worst experience with employees. Im 100% sure, im not coming back to this hotel in the future. Not recommending it to anyone i know.

Room was below standard and I was told it would be a bit smaller because I was being placed in a corner room. Staff never once changed any of the towels or bedding, and let's follow that up with 3 days of a strike going in outside. The loudest 12+ hours a day and you did nothing to stop or quiet it.

Please see feedback provided during check-in. When there is an active strike happening at a hotel which includes being greeted aggressively by screaming/yelling/noisemaking disgruntled employees, and when that strike makes expected amenities (food service, restaurant, breakfast, bar, room services) unavailable, that should have been disclosed to travelers prior to arriving at the hotel. The few workers that greeted us at the front desk were courteous and professional but I felt very badly for them operating under those circumstances.

Hotel union members are on strike in Charlotte. My room was right above the entrance where they protested. Set up was around 5am followed by chanting, megaphone and drum from 7 am to 8 pm. The side away from the street is much quieter, where they moved me for the 2nd night. Amenities reduced due to lack of staff. Also there was a big ball below my new room and the bass from the band was unpleasant. Maintenance came up and plugged in the tv so I could drown out the noise. He said that housekeeping unplugs tvs so they can use the outlet for vacuuming. Hotel is old and not in the quaint way. But I could walk around downtown from there, a plus.

The staff was on strike, there was no food available at the hotel, parking was expensive, not able to sleep. Absolutely awful experience. The staff that was working was great otherwise would never ever stay there again. We were even offered anything for the trouble of the huge protest outside of our window

The location couldn't have been better. The staff were nice enough. Parking was reasonable. The room had some issues, though. The curtains kept getting stuck. The carpet actually moved if you scooted across it. The bathroom sink was cracked and there was something black on the caulking between the bathtub and the floor. Housekeeping also didn't leave any coffee pods. The night before we went to the restaurant to get a quick bite, but they were out of the two things we wanted so we ate elsewhere. But, the bartender and the server were very nice. This place is a little long in the tooth, but it was nice, clean, affordable and close to the downtown historic district. We'd stay there again
