Historic Elegance Meets Modern Comfort – A Perfect Stay

Our stay was phenomenal. I was thoroughly impressed with how spotless and clean the rooms were upon arrival. The home effortlessly blends timeless historical charm with modern comfort, creating an atmosphere that’s both elegant and inviting. From the original hardwood floors (carpeting in the rooms) and beautiful decor to the antique touches throughout the space, you can feel the rich history in every corner. The owner also has beautiful landscaping and flowers all throughout the property. The inside is beautifully updated with all the modern amenities you could ask for—high-speed Wi-Fi, a smart TV, stocked bathroom with different toiletry items in case you forgot some and comfortable bedding.The location is perfect, nestled in a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood just a short stroll from downtown Wayne. You would think being close to the train station would be the opposite of quiet, but I barely noticed the trains passing by during our stay. Plus, the train into Philadelphia is super convenient (wish I was able to use it), giving you the best of both small-town charm and city access.The hosts were an absolute delight—welcoming, responsive, and full of great local recommendations. They truly did make us feel like family during our visit.If you’re looking for a stay that captures the spirit of Southeast PA with warmth, character, and style, look no further. We can’t wait to return!

This "Nest" was so nice and comfy:)

This home is very convenient to all the local areas of interest. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. There are two separate rooms (bedroom and sitting area) which makes it nice if someone wants to sleep in:) The bed was super comfy! And the place was very clean and well-stocked. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. However, I think I would choose one of the downstairs accommodations because there were a lot of steps up to our rooms. Thank you, Ushmila, for making our family weekend celebration even more special!

This property is ideal for any event at the surrounding colleges and universities because of the location, but don’t delay booking because it fills quickly. The host responded to our emails within 24 hours prior to our stay and responded within 30 minutes during our stay. We need to reach out to them once during our stay and received an email plus a phone call to ensure they were able to answer our question. This was a very nice personal touch! The suite was clean, quiet and private, close to shops and restaurants in the area, and perfect for 2 adults needing a short stay close to the university. We would book again.

Was a quick overnight stay

The hosts were very helpful and clear what was expected. Everything was clean and well organized. It was stocked with water and coffee. The only thing that needed improvement was the temperature at night. It got a bit warm.

We stayed overnight before touring Valley Forge. Adorable room and comfortable, clean, and as advertised. The host was wonderful and communicated everything I needed before my arrival. Would love to stay again.

Cozy, convenient hideaway

This space was exactly what I wanted for my solo weekend! Self-contained in a charming, large house I had everything I needed in a conveniently-located crash pad. The train station is across the street but somehow very unobtrusive. The train into the city runs at least once an hour, making it easy to explore from the convenience of the house. Parking was really easy in the large driveway . The hosts were super responsive to every message, replying within minutes. The whole space was very clean and comfortable. The pictures and description are accurate in describing the multiple sets of steep, narrow stairs that would be difficult to navigate with large luggage or mobility issues. I hope to make it my home base for future Philly adventures!

Beautiful nest in the trees

The most nicely appointed rental I’ve ever experienced, this two-room apartment in the attic of a lovely 1920’s house is nest-like with its view of trees and sky. It’s in a great location with easy parking and public transportation a block away. The apartment was very clean and has many thoughtful amenities, a very nice bathroom and a comfy mattress. The property itself is beautifully landscaped. We were within 30 minutes of downtown Philly and several gardens we wanted to visit. We plan to return next time we visit the area.

Perfect short stay.

Rizwana and Mustafa were absolutely wonderful. We had an issue with the air mattress and they immediately replaced it. The house is beautiful and the rooms were just what we needed. Located in the middle of everything but on a quiet neighborhood street. Lovely home, lovely hosts and a lovely time. We will absolutely stay again when we come back to Wayne.

Mom-Kid college tour weekend

Great place to crash in between college tours and time in Philadelphia. The space is very comfortable and we each had privacy, when needed. Our host was amazingly responsive to any questions or requests and even allowed us to check in early. The location of the house is ridiculously close to the SEPTA train station but it was remarkably quiet. The neighborhood has great cafes and amenities very nearby. If my kid ends up at one of the school we toured, I would DEFINITELY stay here again.

Cozy retreat in the nest

Stay in a beautiful old house in the heart of the main line. Close to Villanova university and other attractions like King of Prussia mall. It's like being at home because you are sharing theirs. Homeowners couldn't be nicer or more welcoming. Very close to Nudys Cafe in Malvern, great breakfast spot!

Cozy Spot for 1 or 2 People

This listing is located in a beautiful, shady, residential neighborhood, situated VERY close to the train to the city. I never heard the train from the attic rooms. The owners were extremely quiet and receptive to our requests for comfort. It was easy to find the home and enter. Guests need to enter the owners home to get to the suite, then go up a short, narrow flight of stairs to access the suite. You cannot lock the door to your suite from the outside when you leave, but the main house is secure. Guests need to contact the owners to request changes to heating or cooling as there are no controls in the suite. The queen bed in the bedroom is comfortable, the bathroom is beautiful, the decor is charming and the suite was extremely clean. The description on the Vrbo app does not have the following information, but it is on the website. The second room has an air mattress in the closet, not a murphy bed, as listed and there wasn't room for our family to inflate the bed and have space to move about comfortably. If you have a friend enter for a short visit, I suggest letting the owner know in advance to prevent an additional guest charge. The fridge is very small and there is only space for minimal food preparation with the microwave. There are paper utensils and good coffee. Overall, this is a comfortable and quiet suite for 1 or 2 guests.

Perfect dwelling outside of the city

We came in town for the Roots picnic but did not want to stay in the city with all of the traffic and crowds. It’s was perfect and had great restaurants . The train access across the street was a plus.

Comfy and Quiet

I do not know what is more inviting the hosts or the home. Everything is so well planned out they have all your needs thought of in advance. The location is an exceptionally beautiful residential area, and it is right next to the train stop. You can roll out of bed and be on a ride to Philly in minutes. "NOTE" the train is quiet I think we only heard it once in the two days stay. We are looking forward to coming again next year and staying. Thank you again for making us feel very much at home.
