Pros: Check in/communication was smooth and pretty easy. The presence of electronic locks were convenient and made self check-in and security easier because we didn’t have to keep track of a keycard.
The room was in good condition, most** things worked well and in good shape. There were plenty of comfy pillows. The a/c unit worked great, which was good since the room was on the top floor in the blistering summer.
Cons: The windows were very thin and you could hear everything from the street, which often meant noisy vehicles especially at night. The bed was fairly hard and made it difficult to sleep well, this could partially be because the bed frame was essentially a plywood box.
**The electronic lock to our room was finicky and required to be jiggled in order for the deadbolt to come out at all (it would twist and get jammed when unlocked) and if it wasn’t just right it would refuse to lock and repeatedly click. When we noticed this on the day we checked in we were concerned we wouldn’t be able to lock the unit when we were out, and it took several minutes to figure out how to get it to cooperate.
The location was in a slightly rougher part of town, which made safety a little questionable.
The only minor thing was that there was only tea (no coffee) and no soap aside from a small bottle of dish soap. Thankfully I brought hair and body wash but it could be an inconvenience for others.
The cost made the trip affordable and was close enough to everything, would book again.
