The space was really nice. Communication was great. We paid for the garage parking & it was worth it. Its an easy walk to the city center. Saw a show at the Met & it was an easy walk there too.

Clean comfortable and unique.

Very clean, comfortable and unique. So many thoughtful little details throughout the space. More of a Vrbo experience as there weren’t any staff on property, all done through the phone. The hotel is tucked away on a side street so parking was the worst part, but the room itself was amazing!

Great location for museums, very walkable. Clean loft vibe.Wanted a Keurig, included coffee ok, but... Needs horizonatal surfaces in bathroom, maybe a small table, shelf on wall by sink, a few more hooks. Struggled with thermostat, but, once we got windows open, that was fine, despite street noise at night.

The space is absolutely lovely and feels like you’re staying in a lofty style home with a full kitchen! The place has unique written all over it! I felt safe having a code to get into the facility! The full kitchen was an abusing perk and I totally recommend staying here on your trip!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Kestrel. Its central location made it easy to get to everything we wanted to see in Philadelphia. We walked everywhere but some sites may be too far for others. We especially loved how close it was to Reading Market which quickly became our go-to breakfast and snack spot. Would add that their communications were extremely thorough and that helped things go smoothly.

The room we stayed in was great, and it has a full kitchen. There is a really comfortable bed in the loft (stairs), and a smaller sleeping nook right off the kitchen. The bathroom is huge and everything was clean. The neighborhood is quiet and safe - however, unless you prearrange parking (we didn’t and really should have), finding a spot close enough is impossible. After looking for awhile within a several block radius, we FINALLY lucked out and got a spot out front. And as not to lose that spot, we took Ubers to our destinations during our stay. There isn’t a front desk, but you can email with the staff. The building has residents and hotel guests and it’s a QUIET location, which we appreciated. I’d stay here again

Great value and convenience!

We were in the Rail Park suite and found it very comfortable and convenient. I was a little dubious at first about the "invisible" service, but the managers answered the phone and responded promptly to my inquiry about parking options. (We used a parking lot just a minute's walk from the hotel.) The suite was very thoughtfully designed and equipped. For example, the kitchen has not only gleaming stainless steel appliances but also glasses, pots, dish soap, measuring cups, etc. The bath products are nicer than they have to be, and I was surprised to find cocktail mixers and ice already made as well as good coffee and a stunning glass filter cone in which to brew it--same system as I use at home but a lot prettier.

So, chose the Kestrel for its location close to City Center and other attractions in the area. The room's open space design and its minimalist furnishings was not necessarily to my liking, but it was comfortable, clean and appointed with all the necessities for a longer stay. The building itself is secured with an entry system that requires a personal code to enter and it felt safe. There are several restaurants/cafes nearby that offered good food and atmosphere. I would recommend the Kestrel to anyone looking for accommodations near the city's landmarks and a variety of eating establishments.

The room was so much more spacious than we expected. It was clean and quiet and the hosts provided some nice staples for their guests. Getting in and out was very easy because of the stellar communication, and we had a very easy walk to the venue we werw going to, as advertised. Very happy with our stay, thank you!
