Our first night, the TV didn’t work until about midnight. The girl at the front desk didn’t seem to care and just said that she’d need to talk to her manager. The setup for breakfast wasn’t well-organized which created crowds in a corner. The woman over the food seemed to hide in the back and didn’t keep things stocked. The milk was gone, the utensils were gone, the food containers were empty and she just seemed to hang out in the back. It was pretty disappointing.

Paying for parking even though I paid for the room for a night? According to the hotel staff, this is ‘something new’ and started because ‘every other hotel around here started doing it…’. I can understand having to pay for parking if you leave a vehicle while on a trip and not actually staying at the hotel but otherwise, this should be part of the room-rate (just make it $12 more expensive but make me think it’s free). The building is fairly up-to-date but no phone-key abilities here. The area is somewhat shady with lots of boarded up property around but our car was left alone overnight. No laundry on-site either though this is advertised on the in-room TV. We had some dirty beach stuff that we had to wash in the room’s tub. Staff is friendly enough. Great breakfast options with frequent freshness checks and replenishments.
