The rooms, were very clean. The staff was super helpful. All the extra amenities the hotel offered was super cool. The common area to hang out and the bar was one of our favorite things! Will defiantly be staying again!

Beautiful, historic building conveniently located near theaters and restaurants. The bed was clean and comfortable. The room was overall clean but a few negatives: the plug on the desk had old double sided tape that wasnt holding so it just looked like it was stuck in desk. The desk chair should be thrown out. Totally ripped across the top of the leather. Looked bad. The bathroom was clean except for hairs in the soap dish and shower floor. We only stayed for one night. This was our 2nd time staying at this location.

Simple check out, room was very clean, beautiful, and great view! Bed was way to soft for me, but thats a preference. My only takeback was at check in. I paid for 2 nights, but missed the first day check in and didnt make it until day 2. I was told initially the room was then put back for sale when I didnt check in the first time? If thats the case, shouldnt I also get a credit for a stay for that day since it was paid for anyway? Just a minor thing, but if the room was paid for, why would it be allowed to be resold? Beautiful hotel, highly recommend!

Aloft has a great location right next door to the PA Convention Center where we were going. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and personable. My issue with the room is that the lighting is terrible! The room is very low lit. Even the bathroom lights aren't bright. Trying to apply makeup properly is impossible. The full size mirror in our room was placed in a narrow space between the bed and the bathroom which gave no room to really stand back and see yourself. We were attending a formal event so I had to wait until we arrived at the Center to adjust my make-up and get a really good look at myself. Unfortunately, I needed to make changes that I would have been able to make beforehand had the lighting and space been laid out properly.
