Great Hotel

Beautiful hotel, room was quite large and well furnished. Ate at the bar in the small restaurant and the food/service was excellent too.

Reception staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, including refreshments and ice cream. The dog bed, water bowl, and treats provided in the suite also added a personal touch appreciated by our four-legged family member. The property celebrates its heritage while offering all the mod-cons expected from demanding guests like ourselves, including EV charging. Our stay felt extremely relaxing in what is a very beautiful and quiet location.

Well built, maintained total atmosphere.

Really a great stay. It's not modern, but it's very well built, maintained and cleaned! The service of my late check-in and the royal breakfast helped me relax. Only stayed very short, but will stay again. Perfect price quality.

Abbey at Hornbach

The location in an old abbey is intriguing and well done. The church bells that ring the quarter time are charming. (They did not wake us up, but made us smile!) The food at dinner was terrific with generous wine pairings. We hired a historian to give us a tour of the abbey grounds and Hornbach; he was great. We also enjoyed exploring the roads and land around Hornbach both in France and Germany.

Nice as a switch.

Decided to spend the weekend in the countryside while on a prolonged business trip. Glad I did. This is a unique hotel with unusually good customer service and nice appointments in the room like nespresso machine. Highly recommended.

Great hotel for a decent price.

Best hotel we stayed in during our recent trip to Frankfurt, Berlin, and Munich. Staff was courteous and professional. Room was clean and neat. Food was excellent. Entire hotel complex provided a relaxing atmosphere. Would have liked to stay longer. Only downside was a failed elevator.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt mibdestens 5 Sterne plus

Ein wunderbares Hotel in einem ehemaligen Kloster. Sehr geschmackvoll und stilsicher renoviert. Alles in einem Topzustand mit vielen kleinen gut durchdachten Details. Äusserst frendliches Personal, sowohl an der Reception, beim Frühstück wie auch im Restaurant. Top Preis-Leistung! Ich würde auch 6 Sterne geben, wenn es möglich wäre.
