Great Stay

It is a older motel. It was a great stay for us. Beach area or pool for the Grands to swim, for when the gulf had purple & red flags out. Breakfast was great!! Cherie, The lady who takes care of the breakfast buffet is really sweet!! Show her some love & be sure to give her a tip!! All the workers are nice & friendly!!

More smell was so strong, only ladders in & out of pool, unsafe drop off to beach access, parking was an issue, dead lizard found on the floor in a corner of room, paint was splattered all Over tub and pics did not display accurate depictions. Staff at the desk was nice

This is not the worse place I've ever stayed but I won't be back. A couple of front desk ladies were rude to my 9 yr old son if he asked for something like a spoon or coffee packs. I didn't really feel safe because the security locks on the doors had been broken or didn't work and after market ace hardware was installed. The breakfast was very disappointing!!

This hotel stay was just a stopping point between New Orleans and Destin. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I did request a balcony room but had some difficulty managing the stairs. The restaurant with the hotel served great Italian food and the breakfast was your standard hotel fare (waffles, eggs, biscuits, cereal).

Private Beach was great! Close to everything. Staff was very nice. Property is older but well maintained. Nice pool and outdoor bar. Free breakfast was nice.

The staff was friendly and helpful but the room conditions are horrible. My initial room had someone else’s hair all over the bathroom, neither the A/C or the refrigerator worked. After managing through the night the next morning I went to the front desk and asked to be moved and they were very accommodating with no problem. The next room had a better A/C but the refrigerator door was hanging so it didn’t close properly. Other than that, the proximity to the beach was good.
