2 bed room villas with kitchen , and private pools on ocean , free breakfast , staff very friendly and helpful . There is not much to do besides trips to island to snorkel and beach snorkeling . Lots of restaurants, cheaper rates in wet season but higher humidity, and sometimes lots of trash in ocean . There were some mosquitoes in room but they had nets . I stayed 10 nights should have stayed 4 .

Perfect Pemuteran

Great hotel in a super location. Great for Diving or just being away from the tourist traps Well worth the distance from other areas of Bali. Look for Abyss Ocean World for some fantastic guided diving.

A peaceful place! The ocean view villa with private pool was amazing. Snorkeling off the beach. Food is not good but next door is Tirta Sari, both warung and restaurant with great food at great prices.

Wonderful staff , perfect location in Pemuteran , beautiful villa only the bathroom could have been improved as slightly old and tired. The gardens were just beautiful attracting lots of birds , frogs and bats, we were in heaven for a week. Barbecue night is a must do. The breakfast menu could maybe have a few more choices but were always perfectly cooked with fresh ripe fruit and gorgeous fresh juices.The seafood and fish dishes were yummy and very reasonably priced.The massages at the Spa were superb and excellent value for money.Villa's private pool perfect. We are so hoping to come back next year. Favourite place in Bali so far for relaxing .Definitely worth the 4 hour drive from the airport such a fantastic and fascinating journey through the mountains.Love love loved it :)

A memorable holiday in a very relaxing property. The staff are excellent and their service was even better. I couldn't recommend Amertha Bali Beach Front Resort highly enough.

Great place to get away from the noise.

Had a two bedroom ocean front villa. It’s not right on the beach but that was ok. The private pool isn’t that private as there is only some shrubs between you and anyone walking by. This wasn’t a big deal since it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The Staff was all very friendly. It was the low season and apparently they don’t get a lot of customers this time of year. The only downside to our room was the toilet was outside so the mosquitoes would be attacking you as soon as you went to use it. I did like that they didn’t use plastic straws or plastic water bottles like almost everywhere else in Bali.

Good value, great experience

We chose this hotel as it appeared to be more Balinese then 'International', but still to a high standard. It delivered exactly what we wanted & expected. Staff were courteous and attentive. Food and drink, especially the juices, was very good. We had a shared villa & pool which wasn't a problem, but we would have much preferred ground-floor accommodation. Very good value.

We loved it here.

Would recommend this to anyone. We had a beach front villa and could hear the surf from our bed. A particularly lovely way to fall a sleep. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the massages complete bliss. We stayed for 6 days and had one every day except the last day when we had 2! Ameretha offers lots of different tours which are priced middle range and are well run. For a full day tour lunch is included and it is delicious. We did their tour of a local waterfall and we had a lot of fun climbing the waterfall with our guides. There is a turtle sanctuary next door to the resort and a coral reef literally out the front.

Amazing Amertha villas

We had a fantastic time at Amertha Villas. The villa was absolutely beautiful and such good value for money. The resort was lovely with beautiful gardens and location right on the beach between the sea and mountains. The villa was large and spacious and made up lovely each day. We loved the pool and the seaview from our own Bali Benong. Pemuteran is a lovely quiet art of Bali. We enjoyed the snorkelling out the front of the villa.

Quiet and peaceful hotel

Hotel is perfect for family stay with lots of area for kids such as garden, private pool, public pool and beach area. Snorkelling is good. The hotel area is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the hotel very much and are considering to come back next year.

Excellent Hotel!

We enjoyed the villa with it's own small pool. Service was excellent! When the volcano blew and closed the airport in Denpasar the hotel staff helped us arrange cars/ferry to take us to a Java airport so we could get home. Great food & room service!

Perfect

Everything about Amertha was just perfect for us. The villa was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is amazing being right on the beach. The bar and restaurant are overlooking the ocean. The staff are always helpful and courteous. I cannot speak highly enough of Amertha Bali Villas.

Very impressive

Hotel offers an old world Bali experience with luxurious trappings. They offered a good driver to take me on and even negotiated the price. The driver offered free wifi in the taxi and was a font of local knowledge - a happy ending to a great stay - climbed the temple behind Matahari Resort - impressive views of the region - snorkelling off the island and national park a must do - should have stayed longer- go to the pearl farm or drive to the ferry terminal to Java 45mins or hot hot springs at Mimpi Hotel

AMAZING!!

This hotel is AMAZING!! I highly recommend it, everything was absolutely perfect. The rooms were great, the snorkeling was amazing, food was good and overall pretty cheap. My kids loved having their own pool. The only negative is how long the drive is from the airport. It took a solid 5 hours and probably closer to 6 after stopping for lunch. If you can stay a few days it’s great but if you are short on time the distance from the airport should be a deterrent.

Great alternative to the usual tourist traps

It's a long drive from the airport - but well worth it for those who want a peaceful holiday and a taste of a different Bali. Still lots to do - just not the usual tourist rabble - no bars, no shopping. A huge property, with very private villas, in a lovely landscaped environment. I got a very good deal for a non-peak stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Private pool was a good size. I didn't have anyone in the adjoining room (they share pool and kitchen/living area). It would be great for groups or families as you can share facilities and have private bedrooms. The beach is not great for sun baking (or even general swimming) but if you like snorkeling - there aren't many places better for snorkeling straight from the beach. The bio rock reef project is virtually out the front or a short walk up the beach. You could spend hours snorkeling here. Do your research before you go because it could be easy to miss some of the nice spots. There isn't much info at the hotel or on the beach about where to snorkel.
