Beautiful Restored Two Bedroom Holiday Apartment with Infinity pool

Borgo di Libbiano nestles among the Tuscan Hills forming part of a charming Italian Hamlet were the occupants have lived for generations. The approach to Borgo dI Libbiano is a long winding avenue lined with mature Cypress trees; you know you are in the Tuscany you have always dreamed of.

The apartment is attached to a stunning seventeenth century Baroque Church, the apartment has been restored to the highest standards, retaining all the Tuscan charm. It has been designed for private, relaxing and comfortable living for all seasons. Two furnished bedrooms including one double and one twin with linen and towels provided. The fully equipped kitchen includes washing machine, fridge, toaster, oven and hob. Central heating throughout the apartment and mosquito nets to all windows. The apartment also includes smart TV, internet/WIFI connection, CD & DVD players.

Outside provides an intimate private outdoor dining area with table & chairs. A central communal area for relaxing with BBQ facilities is also available; this is situated next to the Infinity Pool with stunning panoramic views across the rolling Tuscan hills.

Previously the apartment was the accommodation for the church curate which has been sensitively renovated by Italian contractors to a very high Tuscan standard with all modern facilities.

We are centrally situated only 30km from Pisa airport and 50km from Florence airport, you can easily take day trips to Pisa, Florence, Luca, Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena and the Versilia coast. The local historical town of Peccioli is 4km with excellent guided tours has a tourist information office who can supply details of all local activities. Among the rolling Tuscan hills you can explore the nearby fields and streams bountiful with wildlife, deer, wild boar, porcupines, chestnut & walnut trees, mushrooms, wild asparagus, with a profusion of wild flowers and butterflies.
Local facilities/amenities include a prestigious championship Golf course and restaurants at Castelfalfi. Horse riding, cooking services and lessons can be arranged locally.

A great place convenient to visit many places.

A great property that had all the necessary amenities. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The shared pool was a good size with great views. Benedetta the property manager was lovely and ensured we had everything we needed. We would recommend.

Sightseeing Break

We initially chose the property for its rural location within easy reach of towns and city we wanted to visit. Location very pretty, apartment exactly as described, homely clean and comfortable. Owners very responsive to any questions before travel. When we arrived late Bernadetta who looks after the apartment was so welcoming and kind and is a massive asset, thank you once again. Magical area of Tuscany

Comfortable, well equipped apartment with lovely views from main bedroom. Use of a large pool included which had stunning views of the surrounding countryside. We really enjoyed our 10 night stay and would highly recommend this property for a totally relaxing time but with also lots to see at the surrounding hilltop towns.

Amazing property centrally located between some of Italy’s most beautiful cities

The booking process was very straight forward and Steve and Cath were always very prompt at replying to any questions we had. We’ve arrived at holiday properties before and been saddened that they’ve not lived up to their description or our expectations but we instantly fell in love with this property and actually felt that the photos don’t completely do it justice. We had a fabulous two weeks here and couldn’t fault the property. It was a real home to our family and was very well equipped and clean. Bernadetta was a star from start to finish! She made the booking in very straight forward and was always prompt at answering our messages. We were very fortunate and had the pool to ourselves for the whole two weeks and made use of it every day bar one. It is well looked after and offers fabulous views of the surrounding area for miles. You definitely need a car for this venue. The only thing that would have improved it for us would have been if there was a little family owned restaurant within walking distance for the evenings but this isn’t really a problem, just a luxury for us! We would definitely return to this location and are missing being there.

A lovely property in a quiet but stunning location.

Check in was easy and the property was clean, nicely presented and well equipped although we found the fridge a little small for us. Also it lacked a decent freezer compartment for ice and lollies - essentials in temperatures in the high 30's ! However, there were fans in every room which were much needed. The pool was lovely - a great view and never busy despite it being high season. The communal BBQ area needs a bit of tlc as it is a large gravel patch with metal tables and chairs with a bbq in the corner - all a bit stark and in need of planting and sun awnings perhaps ? Overall a very nice property in a lovely area within short driving distance of Pisa and many lovely medieval villages worthy of exploring and lunching in, of course !

Perfect location to relax and explore, we’ll equipped and presented apartment.

We found this apartment by pure chance but it couldn’t have been better. The location is great for a peaceful get away but close enough to visit some of the beautiful cities that Tuscany has to offer, Lucca, Pisa, San Gimignano to name but a few, and in a week we managed to do these and more and still come away feeling relaxed. We would go back in an instant!

Fantastic little Gem in Tuscan countryside

This beautiful apartment was a real gem in the Tuscan countryside. Our family had a fantastic stay in the well fitted out property. It was everything that was promised and more. Pool was wonderful, setting was gorgeous and it was a great base to both relax, and also to explore some beautiful Italian cities including Florence and Lucca. Highly recommended.

Eine sehr schöne, gut augestattete Wohnung in einer herrlichen ruhigen Lage. Wir wurden spät Abends sehr freundlich empfangen, mit Pizza und kalt getelltem Sekt.Der Pool bietet eine super Aussicht auf die toskanische Landschaft. Eine sehr schöne und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung mit wunderschönem Blick in die Berge der Toskana. Der Empfang von Bernadetta war sehr herzlich und sie war immer für uns da, wenn wir eine Frage hatten oder Hilfe brauchten. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in Libbiano. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet - man merkt an vielen Details, dass sie einem privaten Vermieter gehört. Es gibt Mückennetze in allen Fenstern und einen schönen privaten Außenbereich. Die Lage auf dem Berg und der Pool sind traumhaft. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die persönliche Betreuung durch die liebe Benedetta. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Toskana wie im Bilderbuch

Die Fahrt zur Unterkunft führt auf einer schmalen Zypressenallee den Berg hinauf. In Libbiano angekommen wird man von Bernadette herzlich willkommen geheißen (sie spricht perfektes Deutsch!). Sie führt durch die Wohnung und Anlage und lässt keine Frage unbeantwortet. Die Unterkunft selbst ist sehr schön eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Sogar Espresso-Pulver, Milch, Wein, Sekt stehen bereit. Das Bad ist etwas eng, aber sehr gepflegt (wie die gesamte Unterkunft). Die Betten sind ein Traum! Der Pool ist sauber und wurde von unseren Kindern intensiv genutzt (einzig die Liegen könnten von besserer Qualität sein).Das Auto kann etwas abseits auf einem überdachten Parkplatz abgestellt werden, was gerade an heißen Tagen ein Segen ist. Zum Schluss noch zurück zu Bernadette: vielen Dank nochmals für den tollen Empfang und auch die vielen Tipps für Restaurant, Eis usw. !!!

Erholung pur

Wir hatten eine erholsame Woche in Libbiano. Die Gegend um Peccioli ist wunderschön und es gibt viel zu entdecken. Florenz, Pisa und Lucca sind in ca. einer Stunde gut erreichbar. San Gimignano ist definitiv auch einen Ausflug wert.Die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet, es gab Moskitonetze an jedem Fenster, was von Vorteil war. Da es während unseres Aufenthaltes richtig heiß war, nutzten wir den Pool fast täglich. Ein echtes Highlight, teilweisen hatten wir ihn für uns alleine! Die Kommunikation vor der Anreise mit Steve Burke verlief reibungslos und in Libbiano wurden wir von der sehr herzlichen Benedetta empfangen. Da sie auch sehr gut deutsch spricht, war die Kommunikation unkompliziert und sie stand uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Vielen lieben Dank dafür! Wer Ruhe, Erholung und einen tollen Ausblick auf die Toskana sucht, ist in diesem kleinen Borgo gut aufgehoben. Wir haben es genossen!

Bellissima!

Wir haben im Juli 2024 zwölf wunderbare Tage in Libbiano verbracht und werden definitiv wiederkommen. Eine tolle, perfekt ausgestattete und liebevoll renovierte Ferienwohnung, der es an nichts fehlt, in einem malerischen alten Borgo. Ein wunderbarer Pool, an dem man hervorragend entspannen und den Blick über die malerische Hügellandschaft schweifen lassen kann. Man hat trotzdem nicht das Gefühl, an einem touristischen Ort zu sein - eher "mittendrin" im toskanischen Alltag. Dafür ist nicht zuletzt Benedetta verantwortlich, die uns einen warmherzigen Empfang beschert hat, viele wertvolle Tipps parat hielt und immer hilfsbereit war (und perfekt Deutsch spricht!). Die Umgebung ist grandios - Florenz, Pisa, Lucca, Volterra etc. sind leicht zu erreichen, und auch darüber hinaus gibt es viel zu entdecken. Schon das nahegelegene Peccioli und Palaia sind kleine Juwelen. Viele hilfreiche Tipps für Restaurants geben auch die Gastgeber.

Tuscany at its best

We enjoyed our stay so much. The apartment is a bit outside near Peccioli. A nice and silent place. Inside was everything as expected. Especially the pool nearby we enjoyed such much. Nicely placed with a perfect view into the surrounding. Location is perfect for daily trips to Pisa, Lucca, Viarregio, Florence etc. Thx as well to Bernadetta for supporting us on-site.

Sehr schön und erholsam

Mit der Buchung gab es ein paar Probleme, aber dafür war der Kontakt zu Steve sehr gut und alle Fragen vorab wurden schnell und zufriedenstellend beantwortet. Vor Ort war Benedetta eine sehr nette Ansprechpartnerin, immer verfügbar und auch für Tips gut. Die Wohnung entsprach den Bildern - wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt.

super schöne gemütliche Wohnung

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Wohnung. Sie liegt ruhig auf einem Berg, weit weg von einer Stadt. Das ist aber gerade das schöne daran, dass der Ort so ruhig gelegen ist. Die Straße zum Ort ist schmal, man kann entgegenkommenden Fahrzeugen an jeder Stelle gut ausweichen. Die Wohnung verfügt über alles, was man benötigt und noch mehr. Unsere Kinder waren begeistert vom Pool und waren jeden Tag dort. Benötigt man Hilfe, Informationen oder Tipps, dann kann man sich an Benedetta wenden, die einfach immer weiter hilft. Klare Empfehlung.

Traumhaftes kleines Apartment mit Pool

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Toscana. Das Apartment ist sehr sauber, gepflegt und gut ausgestattet und bei Fragen war Benedetta immer zur Stelle. Da wir in einer sehr heißen Zeit dort waren, hat Benedetta kurzfristig einen dritten Ventilator besorgt (danke dafür) und mit dem richtigen Lüften war die Temperatur auch drinnen gut auszuhalten. Ein Highlight ist natürlich der zugehörige Pool, den wir ausgiebig genossen haben. Der Standort eignet sich super für Ausflüge in die Umgebung wie Pisa, Florenz, Lucca und viele schöne Orte mehr.

Mooi appartement, maar veel te warm, eerder weggegaan

De omgeving en ligging is schitterend. Het zwembad is prachtig en heerlijk met een mooi uitzicht. Ontvangst en hulp om het te vinden via whatsapp was ook prima. Het appartement is heel mooi en smaakvol vernieuwd. Fijne bedden. Goede keukeninrichting. Jammer dat er geen airco in aangebracht is. Er staat namelijk geen wind op deze kant van het huis, het waait helemaal niet door. 2 ventilators zijn er wel, maar dat hielp niet genoeg. Wij hadden 8 dagen gereserveerd, maar zijn vanwege de warmte helaas na 4 dagen al vertrokken. Ook al koelde het 's avonds buiten redelijk af, binnen bleef de temperatuur ook 's nachts rond de 30 tot 32 graden. Wij zijn vaker in Toscane geweest en hebben ook vaker temperaturen van boven de 30 graden meegemaakt. Dus het is niet alsof deze temperaturen nooit voorkomen. Maar in dit huisje bleef de warmte enorm hangen. En erg veel last van muggensteken gehad. Beter buiten de warmste maanden boeken, dan is het perfect.
