2 minutes from the Buttes Chaumont in the 19th arrondissement. Two rooms right in the Mouzaïa district.

A bedroom and a living room of around 30 m2 on a small terrace on the ground floor of a house.
This apartment is ideal for hosting from 2 to 3 people maximum. There is a sofa bed in the living room for one person.

The advantage of our district is to be in Paris and to benefit from space and greenery in particular from the fabulous Parc des Buttes Chaumont.
La Mouzaïa is a secret district of Paris where life is good, which is perfect for strolling on weekends or coming to relax during a business trip or dynamic tourist vacation.

The whole is charming: cobbled streets, small houses, gardens, flowers, the din of Paris seems far away. Its atmosphere is very relaxing. La Mouzaïa was originally a working class city created in the 19th century.
Close to the lively district of Jourdain and not far from all the lively centers of Paris.

Beautiful place, lovely location, helpful host

My son and I stayed here for three days and really enjoyed our stay. The quiet residential neighborhood was beautiful and safe - with families and small local bistros and a handful of shops was a perfect as was the proximity to Parc des buttes Chaumont - a gorgeous park. The apartment was clean, well appointed and the host was helpful and also respectful of our privacy. When she heard about our picnic plans, she lent us a blanket and warned us of the ticks. The only thing I’d mention is that it is a very hilly area of Paris with cobblestone, so if you aren’t up for walking some steep hills, this isn’t for you.

Wow—what a delightful little property! It was exactly as described, and even better in person. Everything was very clean and tidy, tucked away in a lovely neighbourhood with plenty of charm. There are some lovely restaurants nearby—BOTZA served an amazing pizza we’re still thinking about!It’s just a short five-minute walk to the nearest Metro. We found Botzaris station super convenient and easy to navigate. And you absolutely must visit the beautiful Parc des Buttes-Chaumont—it’s just around the corner and truly a highlight of the area.Our host, Danielle, was an absolute gem—so warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. She responded to our messages quickly and nothing was ever too much trouble.We’d highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area, and we’re already looking forward to returning someday!Siobhan Kate & Bav

Lovely neighborhood, just be aware it is very hilly. The apartment is close to the 7bis metro, making it easy to travel anywhere in Paris, just allow time for traveling. Host lives next door and is very responsive, yet never obtrusive. Basic, clean apartment, spacious compared to a Paris hotel and we love having a kitchen and washing machine. No television set. This is our second time staying here. We find it to be good value for the money.

FABULOUS home away from home

Stayed here for two weeks. Loved this apartment! This is a terrific accommodation for a couple. Spacious and everything you need including a washing machine. Location is excellent. Quiet, green and friendly neighbourhood. 4 minutes to a subway and several handy bus routes. Convenient to shopping. Plan to return soon.

Nice one bedroom apartment off the beaten track

Pros: Separate bedroom, newer shower in bedroom, toilette in LR/kitchen area, ground floor - only two steps down into the apartment. Close to the Metro, Carrefour Express, and a few restaurants. Excellent bakeries in the neighborhood. Cons: Very hilly neighborhood. Wonderful market on Sunday, Tuesday, & Friday; but a long uphill walk to get there. Expect to supply your own toilet paper. There were only a few starter sheets on a roll when we arrived. No television. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and good value for the money.

We liked the proximity to public transportation and also to the park where we went to do a picnic. Being able to do laundry in the apartment was also a nice surprise as we were nearing the end of our two week trip to Europe and we needed to wash a couple of things. The apartment was clean and had everything needed, the outside patio area was also very nice.

Sightseeing Paris

Claude Monet is a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle. For a Paris apartment it was quite spacious with an outside terrace. The Metro is a few minutes walk and it’s on the number 7 route which goes right through the very centre. The area is well served with shops, bars, restaurants, pharmacy and even an Emergency dentist where I was seen in 2 minutes. The hosts are right above you and very helpful. We would happily return.

Loin du bruit et des touristes du centre de Paris ce petit nid au Mouzaia offre une calme et charme incontestable. Danielle m'a accueillie challeureusement et avec générosité. We really enjoyed our stay here - yes, it is small but it had everything we needed inside and it was in such a lovely neighbourhood - the park and restaurants and shops nearby were all great. The shower was amazing! And we were also very impressed with the peeler! Danielle was very helpful and even found an adapter plug for us to use. The only slight downside was the lack of suitable parking nearby, but that doesnt stop me hoping that we can stay again another time!

Great location to experience a "real Parisian " neighborhood. Close to everything essential such as markets, metro and dining. The host was helpful and the apartment very tidy and equipped. Would definitely stay here again!

For those who want to discover the real Paris and its inhabitants / cosy small studio with all needed equipments 5 minutes walk away from beautiful park of Buttes Chaumont - quiet and cool during heat wave of July August. Only ask the owner to disconnect the constant ringing "tweet" of the oven if you have to sleep in the lounge / open kitchen!

Great summer location!

I did not know about this part of Paris before but my husband and I are very happy we got a chance to discover it. It feels like a village with cobblestone streets and tiny gardens like the one we had and enjoyed so much. Plus, the park of the Buttes-Chaumont is just next door. Danielle and her family were super nice and gave us excellent recommendations about restaurants and shopping area. The apartment being on the first floor was cool, even during the heat wave. The bathroom in particular was quite pleasant: nice rain shower and lots of space.
