If manager was responsive, we'd give a much higher rating
This is a spacious apartment in a fantastic location in the 2nd. Kitchen is not particularly well furnished, but enough to make do, and everything else was fine. The neighborhood is fantastic, extremely walkable with plenty of shops, restaurants and great bakeries. Several nearby metro stops made getting to all the major Paris sights a breeze. Our only complaint is a big one, and a warning to anyone staying in this apartment in the winter. When we arrived it was very cold and there was no way to turn up the heat. We rented from VRBO, but check in information came from another company, and that company listed the property manager as yet another company. When we tried to address the heat issue, we were in an endless phone chain, and ultimately when we spoke to a human from the third company, they promised to send someone out that day but did not. We froze that night! Someone came out the next day, agreed that the heat was inadequate and said he could not deal with it but would send someone else. We never heard another word! It happened to warm up, and there were plenty of blankets in the apartment so we were able to make do, but the lack of response was unacceptable to us.
