Take a stroll through the area to admire its stately Haussmannian buildings, and pop into the Musée Grévin to stare at astonishingly realistic waxworks of your favourite celebrities.
You will be a 15 minute walk from the Louvre Museum, and will make a wonderful walk to get there passing through the sumptuous gardens of the Palais Royal
