I was in Paris for 5 days and this hotel was a last minute decision as I decided to extend my trip. I would not recommend staying here, the staff is unhappy. When I was checking in the receptionist was rude and told me he reserved a taxi for the airport but then I later came to find out that the taxi was not reserved. I will give kudos to the 2 evening receptionists, a woman and a man, who helped me reserve a last minute taxi. Overall, I will say that there are nicer hotels in better areas in Paris, I’m not sure how this hotel has 4 stars.

A small hotel near Bois de Boulogne. Paris. convenient to those who are interested to visit Musee Louis Vuitton. Rooms are small. Stairs to every room either down or up. Breakfast OK. Elegant street and quarter.

I’m very disappointed with our recent stay here at Hotel Residence Foch which really affected our overall vacation experience. I rarely write a comment but I’m so dissatisfied hence the comment. This is my second time in Paris and 3rd hotel I’ve stayed at in Paris and by far the worse. The other 2 hotels I stayed are true 5-start hotels. This one is not a 4-star. First of all, the pictures do not justify the actual condition of the room that we booked - superior double/twin room. We stayed there for 5-nights in Mid- July. We traveled with our 2 1/2 year old daughter. When we checked in staff were friendly and we got in our room we already noticed the air conditioning was not working. Not only that but we can barely fit in the hallways with our luggages. The room itself is literally a bed with very narrow walk way around the room and a bathroom that’s it. No seating area at all. We asked to have the A/C to be fixed but all they said is it’s centralized and they have adjusted the thermostat already but it’s obvious the temperature stayed the same. We called about this a few times with no resolution. We also called to be moved to another room but were told that they are fully booked and if we want a bigger room that we have to pay extra $400 more per night. We pre-paid for our full 5-nights and had we not done we would’ve left to another hotel. But we settled because it’s inconvenient to have to pack our things and move again with a toddler and we also traveled with my in-laws.

Friendly Staff, But Definitely Not a 4-Star Hotel While the reception team was friendly and tried to be helpful, this hotel simply does not meet the expectations of a 4-star property. The first room we were given was literally the size of a closet, with dated carpeting and barely enough space for our luggage and two carry-ons. After voicing our concerns, we were moved to a larger room—but not without snarky comments from the front desk. The "upgraded" room had its own issues: the closet was so tiny we couldn't close the door with jackets hanging inside. No individual shampoo or shower gel: just a single wall-mounted dispenser labeled "Shampoo/Shower Gel"—neither of which was effective. Weak and intermittent Wi-Fi in the room; we had to go down to the reception area just to get a decent connection. Tissue holder empty for two days... Small Shower towels. The TV remote was missing the battery cover, so the batteries kept falling out. Breakfast was disappointing and definitely not worth the €18 per person they charge. In short, this stay was far from the quality and comfort one would expect from a 4-star hotel. Friendly staff alone can't make up for outdated rooms and lacking amenities.

Really nice hotel boutique, great service, everything looks well taken care of. The neighborhood is really nice and feels safe. Walking distance from the Arch de Triomphe and the Champs Élysées avenue. The breakfast is worth the money to have a convenient and relaxed alternative.

Although the staff were extremely courteous and kind, all other aspects of the hotel were very subpar. Our towels and bedding had stains on them. Our refrigerator did not work and the minibar was not restocked. The TV could not connect to the Internet so we were not able to watch any of our shows. Just the overall experience we had with the room left a lot to be desired. I would not recommend staying here when visiting Paris.
