Architecturally Renovated Bach

Recently renovated, our bach (actually more a beach house!) offers beautiful views, great sun and a location to really relax in, making this the perfect place for a summer getaway.

Sleeping 7 people this is a modern and clean place for families and friends to enjoy all the Kapiti Coast has to offer. Sky TV, outdoor area and swing for the kiddies make this perfect for relaxing! Fully equipped kitchen and additional kitchenette downstairs are convenient luxuries.

Our bach is a short (100 metres) walk away from the beach, Queen Elizabeth Park, a children's playground, cafe, restaurant and is the perfect place to get away from it all.

Finish the day with a relaxing spa bath outside under the stars... bliss...

It was a lovely place to stay, quiet and comfortable. I would have thought that the fact we had to bring our own linen, towels etc would be reflected in the cost but other than that, it was perfect, thank you.

Nice house in quiet location. Worked for us and what we were doing. Would be good for a family or group of friends. Note the expectations around coaching l the guests cleaning before you go though. It's not like a motel where you can just do a quick tidyaway.

The house is lovely and spacious, the location is great. The house was not clean, there were alot of spiders and hair in the bathrooms, the whole house needs a really good clean. We also weren't aware we had to take rubbish with us.

Host was helpful and responsive. House was nice and warm with a nice outlook but not great outside areas. There are a couple of small decks but not big enough for a dining table. Close to beach and QEII park for walks. We enjoyed our stay.

House was perfect for our family. Your cleaner may need to look up when cleaning bedrooms, as downstairs two bedrooms had large cobwebs the width of the beds. I left them there.Also the drive into house was very slippery,causing our car to slip when trying to leave. May need some netting on!!!! Also an outdoor light needed by main door.

We had a great stay. Bach was just right for our needs - meeting up with friends in the area. Comfy beds and plenty of space to relax.I missed the details in the listing that required quests to bring sheets/towels which made it slightly awkward - but this didn’t diminish our stay. Good communication and clear instructions on how to access - which was a relief with our late arrival. We’d stay there again.

Matariki weekend

Really awesome balcony space, with sun drenched views of kapiti islandLots of options for watching a good selection of DVDS and had a chrome cast which made it easy. An easy 5 minutes from raumiti beach which wss perfect for sunrise and sunset.The place however was a quite unclean on arrival. There was hair in upstairs bathroom sink, there were dirty dishes in the sink, cowebs in windows, dust visibly in bedrooms, bathrooms, rubbish not being empty (which is understandable, as we couldnt find a bin when leaving)It appeared that no one had come in and cleaned since the last people. The bedding was ok. We brought our own linen, but there were stains on blankets and visibly unwashed. In bed downstairs the bed had some sharp bits in it - maybe an indicator that its seen better reviews. Having said all of this, would stay here again. If a cleaner had come it would have been perfect. It was a lovely space to hang out with friends. The kitchen was unusually well stocked with good kitchen utensils and a plethora of trays, pots to choose from. Lots of different spaces to choose from to hangout and an unmatched view of kapiti island.

A perfect holiday

We have had such a wonderful time. The bach has lots of interesting spaces, not least being the bath on the roof which we just loved as night descended. We also loved the beach, just down a walkway, which was safe for the children and great for walking down. We felt that the bach was a 'proper' bach in that we could relax and enjoy it. Thank you very much for having us.

We loved our stay here. Perfect for what we wanted to do. Beautiful inside and out, great view of Kapiti Island. Only thing i could pick up was that the counters and front of the cupboards were dirty, also some spots on the kitchen floor had drops of food/sauce on it. Other than that it was perfect.Other that that it was perfect.

Lovely house

The house was a lovely place for my family too spend Christmas. The large living area meant that everyone had space (especially with the rainy days that we had). The proximity to the esplanade and QEII Park were great for walks. Really nice place overall. Communication with property owners was super easy, with an the information we needed.
