Beware - ROACHES! We saw so many of them in our week long stay. The condo is a nice condo and has a beautiful view. However, we had many issues. The dishwasher didn’t work. The dryer was messed up. Lots of lightbulbs were missing. One toilet was not bolted to the floor and was clogged. The floors were so dirty that our feet were black within minutes of being on them. The property manager did take care of all the issues except the roaches and dirty floor, but it was at the expense of two days of our vacation waiting for repairs. We were offered a partial refund if we signed a document saying we would not leave a review and that they could make any charges they saw necessary to the card on file, which we did not sign. We have stayed at Sterling Beach MANY times over the years and love the resort, but we would not rent this particular condo again.

The condo and grounds are beautiful. The guest bedroom with bunks is more suitable for young children. Our group was older and no one felt comfortable getting into the top bunk. The ladder was not stable. The floors appeared clean but on sock feet turned black on the bottom. We saw a roach in one of the kitchen drawers. One of the rocking chairs on the balcony broke and my sister fell backwards onto the floor. I don’t usually write many reviews but did want to express my feelings about a nasty citation from the HOA. When we arrived the parking passes were in the room with the wrong date. I wrote over the top with the correct date. The citation was for not including the year. It was very threatening and stated our car would be towed if we had another violation. That was petty and should have been handled differently! The only other complaint is no snacks at the pool. It’s our custom to have lunch there and maybe ice cream in the afternoon. They do have picnic tables nearby.
