Do some fishing with 100ft of saltwater or just put your toes in the sand on your own beach in the backyard. Relax with those that matter the most. Boat ramp 5 mins away. There is room to park your boat or RV. Amazing sunsets from the porch over the water is a must see. 10mins to bald point Beach for best sunrise you can ask for.

Liked the privacy of the property. Loved the screened in porch. Water pressure was not enough for showering. Tv in master bedroom needs to be wall mounted up high. Loved it was very clean.

We had a wonderful time here. We had to leave a couple of days early due to our own circumstances at our home, and it was so hard to leave. It’s quiet and we spent a lot of time on the screened in porch watching the birds, fish and squirrels. The white squirrel visited every morning. Our pets loved the little beach. You must go to Mashes Sands Beach and to the beach on Bald Point Rd. It is a nesting area for horseshoe crabs. If you don’t want crowds and are looking for a peaceful place to relax and unwind, this is the place for you. We’re hoping we can go back in the near future.

Everything about ours stay was absolutely amazing! We had a group of four, one being in a wheelchair. The house was completely accessible to her except for the bathtub. However she could get in there and we used a shower chair. She was even able to put her feet in the water at the beach. The cottage is absolutely amazing. It was so clean when we got there, we spilled a little juice on the floor and when I wiped it up no dirt come up with the paper towel, not even a little. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. It had paper towels, toilet paper, towels, washcloth, beach towels, Beach blankets, it was fully stocked of everything. However we did use most of our own things, but it was there if we needed it. It was super quiet and peaceful, not a lot of traffic on the road. The only thing I would add, is that there needs to be a warning on the driveway dip. We were driving a wheelchair accessible van and bottomed out not knowing that the dip was right as you're pulling in driveway. Other than the little mishap with the driveway, my group had an amazing time and I would highly recommend this place if you're planning on visiting Panacea!

Host is amazing! Thank you Agnus for sharing your hospitality and house. The property is beautiful and exactly as expected. Sunrises and sunsets on the river doesn’t get any better than this location. Lots of space and a really comfortable bed. The rv park next door was extremely quiet and not an issue. Near by restaurants were amazing— Angelo’s, Trident , tropical trader are must do!!I see why this host and property get 5 star reviews over and over again. I can’t think of anything that would make this vacation any better.

What a wonderful gem of a place! Fabulous location and so peaceful and beautiful directly on the water! We had a wonderful fire in the outdoor fire pit and the house had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts kept in touch and were easy to communicate with. Great stay. I’d definitely return for a longer stay!!!

Awesome little hideaway! Peaceful retreat to rejuvenate with top shelf sunsets, amazing. Close to restaurants, sea lab, Mash’s Sand beach, Alligator Point and State park. Host was super too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day stay at the Hideaway Beach Cottage. Agnes was great! She offered to give us early check in to the cottage and sent us suggestions of places to eat and places to see. The little town of Panecea is a nice place to visit for a relaxing vacation and the sunsets were beautiful. We sat by the fire a couple of nights-very cozy in November. Both of the seafood restaurants were wonderful but we especially enjoyed the food at Tropical Trader Shrimp Co. The shrimp and grits was wonderful and the oysters. We plan on a second visit.

We so enjoyed our vacation!! Only issue was saying it’s wheelchair accessible is not true, luckily my sister brought her portable ramps because the front door IS NOT WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY!!! If it has a step up…. A wheelchair can’t get over it!!!

So peaceful and relaxing… The cottage is beautifully decorated, quite comfortable and very clean with generous supplies of linens, paper goods, and other essentials. Management was courteous and friendly and responded quickly to inquiries.There are lots of dining options within a very short distance. We had wonderful seafood (of course), barbecue (excellent), and delicious pasta. The view of the water is absolutely gorgeous… We saw dolphins, egrets, schools of fish, and lots of birds and playful squirrels. The sunsets were amazing! A wonderful experience…highly recommended!
