Don't be fooled by the exotic pictures; this is a basic motel like a Motel 6. The pool area is quite nice, but otherwise there are basically no facilities. Even getting a decent cup of coffee when you wake up means getting dressed and driving to a coffee shop. Yes, there's a couple of restaurants nearby, but the proper downtown where you can get breakfast, etc, is a 10 minute walk (which you probably wouldn't want to do in the summer here.) Staff are friendly when they're around, but the motel seems to operate of shoestring staffing.

Beautiful Option in Palm Springs.

I did alot of research before deciding on a place to stay for my business trip to Palm Springs, and The Dunes was a great choice. The check in was by far one of the most convenient options I ever had, and the area was very quiet right in the heart of Downtown Palm Springs. I was in walking distance to many restaurants and the best part was The Grocery Outlet was directly across the street. It is very nicely remodeled. Every staff member was very welcoming and friendly, and the lobby smelled amazing.

Good Value Hotel

Nice hotel in a great location off the main drag in Palm Springs. Lobby and pool area have been recently renovated. Guest rooms are clean, and comfortable, but a bit dated. Staff was excellent.

Don’t stay here !!!

It was terrible !! Doesn’t look like the pictures . Room was very tiny not space for luggage . Bad smell. Sheets and bedding were dirty even after calling for more they showed up with more dirty sheets. Staff was not friendly after asking me about my stay and i told them the conditions of their facility . Will never stay here again !

It was a great stay, a lot of amenities with pool and hot tub and a game room. Only complaint is although the gym has a peloton row and a bike neither work. The row you can’t get up and running and the bikes resistance is messed up. Also queen rooms don’t have queen beds they are definitely doubles. Hot tub also doesn’t work, only stays on for 5’ and room lighting is dim. Despite this I would stay there again for the l Price and location is amazing.

A huge improvement from the previous Quality Inn that occupied this space. The multi-million dollar renovation is noticeable, making it an excellent choice for a resort-like feel that is steps away from downtown Palm Springs. I only wish the new beds were firmer, but that's a personal preference.
