When we arrived, we immediately advised the staff that our WI-FI did not work, and the message on the screen said that payment needed to be made. They said they would send someone right over. They never sent anyone, even after repeated requests. So no TV OR WI-FI DURING OUR ENTIRE STAY. We requested transport from the clubhouse to the cottage the next evening. They said 10 minutes. 40 minutes later, nothing. They disappeared. My son had to take the 20 minute walk to the cottage and get his vehicle to pick us up at the clubhouse. At the wedding, the food was COLD. When we asked the staff to bring warm food they threw it on the table and walked away fast. It was colder than the first dishes. Cocktail hour there were virtually no seats and the only food station they had was a pasta station. That was cold, as well . Please know that we are not EVER ones to complain, but this was off-the-charts bad from the start. Worst part was that the staff didn’t really give a crap. You would think that they, especially, would fix the NO TV ISSUE. They said that was someone else’s problem. Inexcusable!! So the cottage, as we found out, is under separate contract. Don’t advertise it as a PGA venue. If anyone is looking for cracks in my comments, EVERYTHING I have stated is true. Not ever what we expected from such a place. Lastly, the manager said that they would be refunding our stay. Nothing yet. Not responding to any of our calls, texts or emails. This is nuts. I would never take the time.

After some initial issues at check in and problems with our accommodation all our concerns were dealt with effectively and efficiently. Particularly praise for guest relations manager Alex who sorted out our problems, was professional and attentive. Made us feel welcomed and valued.

We enjoyed our cottage and the facilities. There was plenty to do and eat. There were issues with cleanliness because we had small ants all around the kitchen counters possibly due to the toaster having food in it. One of the bathrooms didn’t have hot water handle working and a few door handles were very loose. However , the resort sent someone over very quickly and they fixed these. We also had the smoke alarm go off at night because the we were drying clothes and the lint looked like it wasn’t removed for a very long time so this caused an unsafe situation. Once I realized why we had a smog and smoke, I removed the lint when the dryer cooled so the other visitor don’t have the same situation. Definitely recommend better cleaning. We loved the spa, however, the pools there need to be cleaned because the fee is pretty high for any treatment and use of facilities so it should be in better shape.

The cottages were away from the main resort. We enjoyed the stay but DISLIKED having to call a currier to get us back to the main clubhouse, pool, and restaurants. If they gave you a golf cart to drive around the property, this would be an easy 5 stars. The pool bar closed at 6pm which to me on a Friday night seems foolish. The price coupled with the challenges, i wasn’t sold.
