This welcoming property is suitable for families or friends sharing accommodation. It is located in a small community of 9 houses in the 'El Golfet' area of Calella, one of the most beautiful coves on the Costa Brava. Both the beach and the Cap Roig botanic gardens are only 10 minutes walk away. The house is situated on a hill, so there are steps to climb to reach it. In the summer, life takes place mostly outside enjoying the terraces, gardens, built in barbeque and magnificent views. In the winter there is a magnificent open fireplace and electric heating. Garage and street parking are available. In the Summer months the nearest supermarket is in the village itself, 15 minutes walk away. In Palafrugell, the local main town, a wide selection of different supermarkets are to be found with and a daily street market. Sunday is the main market day. Calella itself, is a picturesque fishing village with waterfront restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and coves. There is plenty to see and do at all times of year. The local walking possibilities are very extensive, along the exciting coastline or inland behind the property, or a few minutes drive away in the Gavarres Hills. Girona a historic city is just 50 minutes drive away. There are many wonderful picturesque and historic villages to visit either on foot, cycling or by car.
