Perfect Family Place with Gnome Park!I admit this was overkill for just my wife and I but I wanted quiet (perfect), Hot Tub (looked great but did not use - on us not the place), and to check it out for potential future stays with rest of family (passed with flying colors). I found it odd that the owners do not highlight the really neat Gnome park right next door. A local family artist has created a fun unique Gnome park for anyone to walk thru and explore right next door for free.The river is across the street but there is nothing blocking the view. The actual river is quite a bit ways out but you can see it beyond the rocks. The view is nice.All n all a very nice place to stay!

We visited to enjoy a ski weekend for our twins 7th birthday. We are a family of five and there was plenty of space. The game space was such an added bonus and the living space was perfect for the family to be together while cooking, eating and relaxing. The interior was thoughtfully designed and my family, including the kids all commented on how great the space was. Communication was also very timely. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great cabin, no issues, fast response in communication. Quiet neighborhood good for pleasant walks. Pretty view of the river. Healthy supply of kitchen utensils and household items like towels, napkins and soap, much obliged for that.

We had a great stay at this cabin! It was very clean and well-maintained, with a cozy feel and everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The seating area out front was perfect for enjoying the peaceful surroundings, and we could hear the river at night with everything turned off — super calming. The cabin was well-stocked with kitchen essentials, games, and fans, which made our stay really comfortable. All the propane tanks were full and ready to go for the fire pit and BBQ, which we appreciated. The game room and hot tub were big highlights for us too! It’s in a beautiful spot that feels tucked away in nature but is still just a short drive from Packwood. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely rental with plenty of room for our family of four adults. The place is in good condition, is well equipped, and has beautiful views. We very much enjoyed the hot tub and the game room. Would stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family.

Very convenient for the national park. House was clean and spacious. We saw a whole herd of elk each morning crossing the yard coming from the river bed! The only potential drawback is there is no AC. The attic fan quickly cools down the house at night but if you needed to stay inside in the afternoons, it gets quite warm in July.

Property was clean and had most of the kitchen supplies. The river is not onthe property as we had hoped. Its not very secluded but it was nice to walk around the neighborhood. Has a beach house vibe. Fans were provided but if its hot, it's pretty miserable inside. Nice place.

Mountain Getaway

We loved staying here and enjoyed the town of Packwood. The fenced in backyard was a huge hit with our dog, and we loved unwinding in the hot tub after a long couple days of snowboarding. Perfect mountain retreat!

Bluebird Cottage
