Stayed in Tobermory for convenient access to Bruce Peninsula National Park. The Escarpment Heights Hotel was perfect location — short drive to various park sites and a short walk into town for dining. Very quiet from human noise at night - perfect for listening to the chorus of tree frogs in the nearby wooded area!

Fantastic place to stay in Tobermory. Short walk to everything one might need. Clean, quiet, comfortable everything and friendly staff. And this time (5 previous) we even saw a bear ambling through the property late in the evening! We will always stay here when we need accommodations in Tobermory.

We loved our stay here. It is conveniently located and allowed us to walk around Tobermory without driving. The patio door and balcony made all the difference. Allowing fresh air in or sitting on the balcony made it feel like a home away from home. We brought things to cook some meals and the picnic area was great for that. Friendly and helpful staff plus free EV charging station!!! If we come back, definitely staying here again.

We were able to check in early, which was so much appreciated! This property is close to the Bruce trail, to the shops and the marina (our boat cruise); it was nice to be able to stop by the room and then go back out again. The motel room was clean and spacious

Hotel was clean, room was big, staff was great, and beds were comfortable and breakfast was good. I have given it 5 stars but there is one problem. Rooms are not sound proof. People in the adjacent room we're making a lot of noise until 1 am and I could hear it so loud in my room that we could not sleep. I called front desk and they helped resolving the issue. But same people again woke up at 4:30 am and started making same loud noise Other than no sound proofing and my bad luck of having noisy neighbor, it was a great hotel

We stayed for 5 nights in a studio suite with two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a cozy living area — perfect for our needs. The space was clean, well-equipped, and gave us the flexibility to cook meals or relax in comfort after a day out exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel right at home. The location was also ideal — close to local places of interest, which made sightseeing and dining out easy and enjoyable. We really appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and thoughtful touches. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient stay!

Excellent, clean, quiet, and large rooms for an affordable price. I would absolutely come back and I recommend that anyone coming to Tobermory stay at this motel. A word of caution to any fellow Americans regarding parking: there is a guest parking lot in front and a "paid" parking lot in the back. Make sure to park in the guest parking lot, as the "paid" parking lot is not related to the payment that you make for your room, and if you park there, you may get a ticket. This is nothing negative towards the motel, I'm just an American unfamiliar with local customs. In the event that I return to Manitoulin, this is where I'd stay for the ferry.
