We recently stayed at the British Hotel in Aylmer for a short visit with friends and family, and we were pleased with our experience. The room was wonderful, featuring a king-size bed and cable TV. The shower had great pressure, and the room was clean and well-maintained. The pre-arrival information was helpful, making check-in smooth. The friendly staff at the welcome desk of the restaurant were very helpful. Great price and food. One thing to note is that parking was a bit tight, and navigating the small parking area was confusing. Additionally, accessing the lobby from the parking area was a bit tricky, and we ended up having to walk out and around to the front doors. However, the hotel's location is excellent, with many shops, cafes, and amenities nearby, including the mall, marina, and banks. The terrace was a lovely touch. Sad we couldn't book again for an upcoming wedding due to availability, But we still recommend the hotel to others. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and we'd consider returning again and again!

Convinient location, alternate apartment was suitable. Not sure about original property I had booked because when I came to check in, keys to original unit was not in lock box. Had to call contact, waited for over 1 hour (from 11:00 to past midnight) and was told someone was on their way, to be relocated to another unit. Checked out the next way at 11, and received multiple emails and text about where I had left the keys. I replied that I had put them back into lock box as per instruction. But they fully refunded me given the confusion so that was really appreciated.

Had a great stay here. We had the sir John MacDonald room. W really nice and close to everything that’s needed. The parking and how to get to the room was a little confusing but First time here and we will be coming back next time.

This was an amazing discovery. Located within the charming town of Aylmer in Québec, The British hôtel offers an excellent service whether you’re travelling or looking for a night out the routine . Rooms are spacious , recently renovated and decorated with elegance and charm . Everything is impeccable clean and fresh . Even if it’s a self check-in /check-out , the process went smooth with all the instructions received . The first floor offers a full restaurant and bar with many entertaining events . I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family .

We arrived a little early and they were happy to let us in. Our room was upgraded without asking for it. We got the penthouse suite! It was beautiful and huge. Amazing bathtub and walk in shower. Several beds and couches. Everything was clean and neat. Gen was great to deal with and very responsive to our text messages. Awesome location.
