Ottawa “The O’Connor”

Centrally located in Centretown, The O’Connor is within a 20min walk of tons of restaurants, shops, and businesses - definitely enough to keep you busy and entertained! The hotel is recently converted and renovated, so it’s nice and fresh! Shower pressure is a bit on the weaker side, but otherwise rooms are well laid out, comfortable, and clean. The check-in and check-out convenience of Sonder properties are great and I’d definitely stay at another Sonder property in the future!

Useless IT systems. Don't go.

Sonder has taken self service to the extreme, without the systems to support the client. It took a couple hours trying to make the reservation and the access instructions could not be accessed. When I opted not to travel, Sonder would not provide a refund. I will never stay with Sonder again.

Just a quick overnight stay and everything was good, lots of space , the only complaint is that the heating/cooling fan was crazy noisy, it woke me up each time it turned on, I guess it’s why there were ear plugs left on the nightstands for guests

It was continently located and clean. There was construction right outside our window knocking down houses early in the morning. Also parking was very limited. I paid for 4 nights parking and 1 evening when I came back I went to the second level parking and there was over 10 spot empty but all said reserved for staff. I parked in one of them otherwise I wouldn’t have had a spot. Shouldn’t let people buy tickets if there isn’t spots available.

We really liked the virtual check-in and the Sonder app. The team always responded quickly and with very helpful information to our questions via the app. The room was clean and looked as advertised online. We would stay here again!

We had a lovely stay here for 3 nights. The room was clean and easy to access with the code they provide. I felt very safe with the safety precautions they take with the codes for the doors. Most things were walkable which was nice and the underground parking on site was convenient as we had a car with us. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The AC unit was a little loud when trying to sleep but they do provide earplugs which was very considerate. Overall we had a lovely stay and I would recommend staying here.

We like the property, staff and the Area but the thing we couldn’t able to park our vehicle, on the booking side it said parking available but we don’t know it’s underground parking and only 6.4inch available. We were disappointed on the parking, otherwise the property, cleanliness’s, area and the Staff are excellent.

The Sonder O'Connor - a true gem

This place is amazing!!!! I stayed here during my renovations. It has everything you could ever need. I will never book any other hotel downtown Ottawa.
