Clean and modern with very good kitchen amenities. Bathroom ok but very little counter space to put personal toiletries. The bed and its duvet could be improved. The duvet was "lumpy" and the bottom sheet was a bit small for the double? (small for a queen?) mattress and popped off easily. Disappointed with Roku TV as we wanted to watch the NHL playoffs but could not do so on this system. If you park your car in their underground you often have to park in "staff only" spaces. Apparently this is a common occurrence and you are ok to do so (we left a note with our room number on the dash).

The room is new, very well organized with a fully equipped kitchen area. The premises are clean. There's a relaxation area, a common room with tables for working and armchairs for relaxing. The hotel is conveniently located. I didn't like the fact that you have to pay to have your room earlier than 4pm (even if it's ready) or to leave later than 11am.

Great location but ....

If you plan to do any work at the hotel, the chairs in the studio rooms are awful. The ones at the table are as uncomfortable as the hard wooden one at the desk. My door was left open by the cleaning staff because it didn't close properly and you can hear every person who walks by your door (and see plenty of light around/under it) so I assume they can hear me. The water pressure in the shower leaves a lot to be desired. On the other hand, it's convenient to Bank street and shops and getting on the Queensway if you need to be driving around the city. The internet is strong and I've had no problem. The car parking while not cheap is convenient or you can find free parking on the weekend with some effort and having the kitchen is nice and it's in pretty good working order (a frying pan would be a good addition). The bed is comfortable and the staff are pleasant, so it's not awful but not nearly as nice as the Sonder in Montreal where I stayed.

This is a fantastic place to stay. Staff were polite on entry, the room felt clean and homely and was equipped with everything that you require, and the location is only a 15 minutes walk from the centre. I would not consider staying anywhere else if I return to Ottawa in future.
