Very clean and great size room. This made up for everything else. TV was not easy to manage, no instructions on where to find the pool or gym. The food was ok but not worth cost.

I have no major complaints about my stay. The hotel was clean, quiet, and had excellent air conditioning. Check in was fast and the staff were very polite and efficient. There were plenty of restaurants and shops in the area, and one could walk to Parliament Hill in fifteen minutes. My only complaints are that the cleaning staff were much too loud in the hallway. They talked loudly and incessantly and could be clearly heard from inside my room. I found this to be annoying. My bathroom fan didn't work and the hand sanitizer dispenser on the 3rd floor by the elevator was empty. Other than that my stay was very pleasant. I would stay there again.

I love staying at the Courtyard Hotel. The bed is comfort, the room is nice, and the internet is well, near the market and so many restaurants around the hotel, easier to see the place that the traveler wants to see such as Parliament, Museum, etc. Easier to find the hotel from the subway.

Convenient stay

It was great! shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Parking was very useful (but pricey) as parking in Ottawa is a problem.

We attended the Ironman and this is the best area to see all the action. We felt unsafe on some areas esp at around 3am where we left for the event. The place is closer to the parliament though and mall, bar and reataurant. The hotel is clean and modern and the main door is accessible by key card during certain times for safety. But I did not see a luggage cart and it's impossible to use it with stairs leading to our room. We requested for a microwave oven and they provided it which is a good plus. We'll definitely be back here again.

Modern, comfortable and clean but no parking available 15 minutes after earliest check-in and wouldn’t take reservations. Wi-fi was terrible…. Virtually nonexistent. Much better expected for $300 a night!

I didn’t sleep… air conditioning was way too loud. The room wasnt not ready at 16h and the parking is complicated… when you arrive there’s not a large area to let your car… and no employees outside to indicate what to do.

We’re right across from the elevator and it’s awfully loud. Room is not soundproofed well as we can also hear the noisy street from inside. Other that, staff are friendly, and we appreciate the amenties. Byward market is very close. Lots of options for dining. Location can’t be beat.

Even when occupied by three adults, the room was very spacious. The hotel and the room were spotlessly clean. The bed was clean and comfortable. Everything was good except for the fact that the air conditioning ran a bit loudly at night when it was quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was close to many attractions, with plenty of food options nearby.
