The room was OK, a bit shabby, but passable. There was no toilet paper at all. The phone in the room did not work. We had to go out to ask for some. Then after we checked out, my credit card was charged additional money because they said there were 2 towels missing, so they decided we stole them. We did not steal them. I asked for the Manager, and left messages for him for 3 days, and he never returned the call. I finally called again and the guy at the desk said "OK, OK, I will credit you the money." He did -- but it was a very sleazy experience. I would never recommend this motel.

Casco bay hotel review 2025

Not like the pictutes at all. Room smelled bad, like moldy, screen on windows had holes. Old air conditioner in room. Old bed not real comfortable. More like a old motel than anything. They did have renovations taking place on second level. Door key card did not open hotel doors well. Maybe after renovations are done it will be nicer. Was convenient for why we were there.

It was a nice quiet place close to anything you want to do. One thing we really appreciated was how clean the room was. The price was also reasonable for this time of year. We would definitely come back.

The room was not the cleanest. It didn’t look like the picture. I stayed there for 3 nights and paid almost $500. The bolt on the door is very loose, there was blood stains on the bed and tons on the floor. The room felt gross and itchy. I can post pictures if it lets me.

So they are doing work on the hotel. I think when it is done it will be lovely. The room was clean and convenient. My issue was that the safety lock on the door was broken, and we were right next to the outside door, and that didnt shut tight. Also, the internet didnt seem to get to our room. As I say, I think when the construction is done it will be great. I think I would just wait a few months until it is done.

Staff was pleasant but the room had been poorly repaired. In particular, a chain lock had been added that simply pulled away from the wall. There were other signs of trying to get by on the cheap. Breakfast was ok. Location was fine.

Great nights stay

This is a great little hotel. Beds are comfy and staff is really helpful and nice. There’s renovations and improvements in process but not interrupting your stay. Room was a little stuffy but the windows opened.
