Our Japan Trip with Mom & Step Dad
Although the space was as advertised and we had a pleasant stay overall, we feel there are a few details that could make the experience much more comfortable, especially for those traveling with older adults. For example, there is no elevator, which was a significant challenge for my elderly parents (late 70s and early 80s), particularly with luggage. Each outing was a struggle for them.Additionally, there was no dining table or chairs, which made mealtime difficult. Not having utensils like spoons and forks in the kitchen (especially when some aren't used to chopsticks) added to the inconvenience. It would also be helpful to have some hooks in the shower room to avoid having to bend down to pick up clothes, and one towel rack for four people simply isn’t enough.Some extra furniture to help guests unload luggage and a drying rack would also be appreciated, especially since the washing machine doesn’t have a drying mode and there’s no space to air dry clothes. These are small but important details that would have made a significant difference during our stay.While the place is a great option for younger travellers who just need a bed and a shower, I would not recommend it for elderly guests.
