We booked a corner room with club access and it was perfect for our 3-night stay. The staff in the club were very professional and welcoming and the food and drinks were very good. The views from the hotel were impressive and we enjoyed having a cocktail and watching the sunset from the club every night. The two things that were somewhat disappointing were the concierge services and the Centara app. We stopped by the concierge desk several times to ask for restaurant recommendations and/or reservations and, each time, they just searched online and then wrote some information on a piece of paper for us. We then had to make the reservations ourselves on the restaurant's website. We can easily do online research ourselves and don't need to stop by a desk, wait in line, etc., to get the same information. In other hotels, the concierge actually adds value by sharing their knowledge and expertise. Also, the Centara app is poorly designed. There was a sign in the club that claimed the app would allow us to use our mobile phone as a digital key so we went through the process of downloading the app, creating an account, etc. When I couldn't figure out how to set up the digital key, I asked the staff in the lounge who smiled and said "No, that doesn't work at our hotel." Without that functionality, the app just seemed overly complicated and not useful in any way. Those are minor complaints, though. Overall, we had a very nice stay.

Stay here! Close to everything

Stay here if youʻre in Osaka and want to explore Dotonburi. Beautiful hotel. Central to down town street markets. Namba station is steps away. I wish I stayed longer. I spent 1 night here before departing Japan. I will definitely book again when I am in Osaka next year.

Great and friendly staff, very convenient location close to major destinations and easy to walk to train stations. The rooftop is amazing with the best view of the city. The room was spacious, high tech and love the Nespresso coffee in the room.

They give clean bed/ pillow sheets every time they clean. Towels ok. Last few days were newer and fluffy, otherwise hotel hard towels. They may organize your bathroom amenities. If you care; it was neat.

Stayed in the Yu family room and it was a wonderful stay. Cleanliness and amenities were top notch. Kids loved the bunk beds and tuk tuk shuttle. Even on the 20th floor, you could hear trains below but it didn’t bother us and didn’t have an issue sleeping

Central Clean Comfortable

Service is excellent; room is comfortable with all amenities and a beautiful bathroom. The hotel is next to a shopping center with restaurants onsite and at the center; and only a short walk to Dontoborin and other great places. Recommend the Centara and we will use it again when in Osaka.
