Room was spotless and clean everyday. We stayed for 9 days. The buffet breakfast was Western style and authenticThai Style as the chefs are Thais. As for the staffs they were all knowledgeable ,courteous and accomodating as to our needs. The 24hrs onsite gym has well stock modern equiptments...no waiting. The hotel is in the heart of Dotonburi,Osaka castle and many shopping and historical sites. I will most definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family. I will return to this hotel again next year.

The room was fairly big compared to other Japanese hotels in general, and we could open widely our two big luggages and still had so much space to move around the room. Very clean facilities and the view from the window was nice. Although there is still around 10-15 minutes walking distance to the Dotonburi side, it was considerably a very nice hotel to stay and I would come back again if i happen to visit Osaka in the future.

We had a great stay! However we didn’t feel that the overall rating of 5 stars was justified. It was nice and walkable but not our favorite stay in Japan. No complaints, staff just wasn’t as attentive as other places. Overall, solid if you want to be in the center of the shopping district.

Centara is a budget friendly stay if you are wanting something convenient and close to Namba station. It has very central transportation. Staff were lovely and check in was easy. Rooms were clean, but the room was a little dated with technology and charging ports. Bathroom was very basic. Room size was small for a twin and tea and coffee making facilities limited.
