Fully equipped kitchen leading into a large indoor dinning room & living room with a desk space to work from. A dreamy peaceful home with fast fibre optic wifi. The house is old with the typical vaulted ceilings and full of original character. It has been subtly and tastefully restored to retain a sense of its history. There is no AC. We use fans. The old and extremely thick stone walls keep the bedrooms cool in the warmest period between mid July and mid August. Being so close to the sea there is also mainly always a breeze. There is a take out Pizzeria just off the main Piazza, a couple of bars the nearest good quality supermarket Conad, is a couple of mins by car in Poggiardo. On Wednesday AM's Poggiardio has a lovely big market which is a great place to buy fresh produce, local ceramics, etc enjoy a stroll and have breakfast there. Often in Ortelle you can purchase fresh fruit and veg directly from the farmers as they park their Ape's or trucks in the village selling directly to the villagers. On Thursday we have a tiny market in the morning.
