The host was initially very nice and responsive. We communicated several times about a broken glass and coffee mug, which were replaced. Near the time of checkout I had gotten locked out of my car and was not on site. I called a locksmith who took about 45 min to come. In the meantime my husband took everything out of the house, including our 15 yr old dog by 9:45am. He was going to sit outside and wait for me. However I was informed by the owner that if we did not leave the premises we would be charged with trespassing. The sheriff was called. When we explained the situation to him he was very understanding and stayed until we left with no charges. Please see screenshots of her messages to me below. Unfortunately, you have to leave at check out.The cleaner is coming. There are places across the street.But he has to leave.About the property: it is really tiny but that was not a problem for the two of us. There was no oven just a toaster oven. There was a microwave and a stovetop. It was clean but it had a definite musty smell and my allergies gave me fits.
