The cabin is private overlooking a shared half acre pond
NO PET POLICY
Beside a 30 acre woods with road access on one side. The cabin has a gravel drive and one step up onto the porches. We can set up the ramp for wheelchair access.
The quarter-mile, woodswalk is a work in progress. Fishing in the pond is catch and eat or catch and release – no take-home.
The cabin has heating and air-conditioning, electric, a wood-burning fireplace, hot and cold water, a heated tile bathroom floor. Gas and charcoal grills bring your own charcoal.
There is a new patio with a fire ring if you want to do a hot dog roast.
Canoe + PFD along with paddles available.
Refrigerator, counter top oven, 2 burner hot plate and microwave coffee maker

“Major“ is our German Shepard who was born December 2020 moves around the property at will and loves swimming in the pond. He greets our guests and expects to make new friends. Though his time is spent mostly at our house - not at the cabin.
We have most all the pots and pans and utensils for cooking and preparing foods.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned cabin, which features a fireplace. There's a private balcony or patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, a stovetop, and a microwave. Conveniences include a coffee/tea maker and a washing machine.

Our stay was fabulous! Such a great piece of property and our host was awesome! The cabin is amazing. Looks brand new. We're going to try and stay there again next year. The only thing is we wish we would have got to meet his dog. He/she came over for a visit but before I could get to the door and open it, he/she was already gone. Can't really say enough good things about this cabin. Thank you! Rich and Wendy

The owners were absolutely amazing. Every object in that house was so thoughtful and planned. I felt so at home. My only regret was not staying longer. They even made handmade cinnamon rolls and bread. It was amazing!!!

Perfect getaway for a relaxing weekend!

This cottage is a gem - remote enough to be in a beautiful natural setting where you can just sip your coffee on the porch while listening to birds and frogs (no internet is a plus! the cinnamon buns were amazing!) yet close enough to French Lick, Marengo Cave and Louisville. Hope to go back!

It REALLY is a cozy cabin in the country!

Everything was exactly as promised. The cabin is beautiful and has so many good quality features to make the stay pleasant and well, cozy. It is decorated with cute things throughout and the hosts make it feel like home. Definitely coming back for more hiking fishing and sightseeing

It was our second time at the cozy cabin. We love it there. The cabin is so cute and since we love to fish, the pond is our recreation. Highly recommend it if you want a quiet getaway to unplug from tv and WiFi for a bit.

Great place for a couples getaway!

It was even better than the pictures. PERFECT place to go and just unhook from work, social media and daily life. Got to relax and enjoy quality time with my spouse. Woodworking Class trip

Needed a place to stay while taking woodworking classes nearby at Dale Barnard’s Woodworking School. Worked out perfectly. Really enjoyed chilling in the evening while rocking on the porch listening to the sounds of the country. Very much enjoyed meeting and chatting with our hosts Darrell and Vivian. The cabin is so cute and it’s very relaxing sitting on the back porch rocking and watching the birds. Cabin is very clean and they have things just in case you forgot something.
