Made reservation well in advance for king suite, arrived 9/13/25 around 4:15 pm to check in. Front desk staff person was new, sent us to a double queen suite room that had not been cleaned or beds made. Back to lobby, waited and then given king suite with no hot water for showers and no working televisions. Back to lobby, waited again for third room which was a double queen studio, not King which was reserved! While showering, water shut off mid shower and in entire room. Told Manager Daniel, and upon our return to room water was back on. I told him we paid the king suite price ( $218.00) and so he gave us the queen suit price ($202.00) which totaled $16.00 less. No other compensation was offered for all of our waiting and back and forth dragging luggage and loss of time. I told them we had dinner reservations, and this made us 30 minutes late because of their inept operating of this hotel. We did understand they are renovating the hotel, but not to have our room ready when we arrived was sheer incompetence. Last but not least, when leaving room to depart, saw a German roach on the inside of our door as we were leaving. We know about German roaches and had to empty all of our bags outside of our home as not to bring just one of these invasive pests inside the house. This was quite an experience, and one which we don't ever want to have again!
