Remodel has been going on for years

We have been staying at this hotel for years and we originally liked it and the breakfast was great but they have been doing a remodel the last couple of years and it's still not finished and they only have half of the breakfast bar available and the fridge doesn't work properly in multiple rooms that we have stayed in, in the most recent remodeled room, the hair dryer was falling out of the wall, there was a wood shim under the shower door and there is no place to sit anything in the bathroom and they have removed all plates and silverware from the cabinets in rooms with a kitchenette, And there was NO coffee available at breakfast which we thought was unacceptable

We stayed here recently and had a mixed experience. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and while I’m sure it will look great once completed, the section we stayed in felt quite old and outdated. Unfortunately, our in-room coffee machine wasn’t working on the first day, and to make things worse, there was no coffee available during breakfast—they told us to use our room machine instead, which wasn’t ideal. Breakfast itself was just okay—nothing special, and certainly not a highlight of the stay. On a positive note, the staff were kind and responsive when I requested extra blankets, which I appreciated. There is a shuttle service to the parks, but it run once for universal in the morning around 9:00 AM and the last return is at 6:00 PM, so you’ll need to plan your day around that if you’re relying on it. Overall, the staff were helpful, but the amenities and overall experience fell a bit short. I’d consider staying again after the renovations are complete.

It was ok

This stay was not a good stay. The carpet smelled like mildew and the sink was stopped up. The blanket was not on the bed. I had to find it. The hotel is going through renovations but other rooms had microwaves, dishwashers and two burner stoves. My room did not. Must have been the difference between the 2nd floor and the 3rd floor. The breakfast was decent and staff seem nice.

the air conditioner fan rumbles loudly whenever the fan comes on, and it happens periodically regardless if the fan is set to auto or on. The shower in our room seems to run out of cold water. We booked for a family of 5, and when it comes to the 5th guest for the shower, the water becomes extremely hot and not able to reduce the temperature.

They are in the middle of another full building renovation, so expect a lot of construction. It didn't effect me in one bit. I've been staying there since it was a Quality Inn 10 years ago. I like the place and will continue staying there as long as I can get my regular rooms.

Perhaps when they finalize their renovations this hotel might become something again. But at this moment it's a disgrace and you shouldn't stay at it. The room walking in had a mildewy smell,. The room was old. There were holes in the wall in the ceiling. There are no shelving in the shower whatsoever. So good luck at what you want to do with things such as washcloths soap or any other type of shower accoutrements. There is an air handler in the room that is so loud. It sounds like somebody is literally hitting a hammer against metal. Every time it turns on. The TVs are small and hung crooked for some reason on the wall. On the door to the bedroom there was some kind of an orange viscous stain across the top of it and even more confusing a wired hanger hanging on the back of it, not on a hook. Just hanging from the top of it. Where the towels hang in the bathroom it's rusted. The blanket inside the closet was stained. The bed had one sheet on it. Paper thin. Not only won't I recommend this hotel. I would advise nobody ever staying there. The only good side of this entire hotel was young. Man who was checking people in was a very professional front desk agent. The woman in the morning was sitting in the doorway to the office. Her foot up reading a book.

Overpriced for what I got/paid. Yes, it is currently under renovation and I went with that in mind but definitely it was not invested in what matters. Walking into the room immediately I knew it wasn’t worth it, the beds didn’t have a comforter set just bed sheets. The blankets in the room were folded in the closet and were prison esque, we had to ask twice at the front desk to be given actual comforters as the phone in the room didn’t even work. Room it’s self was extremely warm walking into even with putting the ac down the set locked temp was stuck at 73 and in the July Florida heat that’s crazy and on top of that the carpet wasn’t even properly cleaned as there was remains of bug on it. Biggest concern was the broken closet door to what I think was the ac unit with a cute sticker on it saying “Electrical Do No Open”……. It made the loudest sound as we were trying to sleep as well. Leaving for the day to go out we left the maid needed sign out and came back to the carpet not vacuumed again as the bug remains were still there no new towels and not even new sheets just the comforters folded on top of the bed not even made. As for the buffet breakfast it was the most bland tasteless food I ever ate at a hotel. The worker lady kept rushing to clean up that she ended up getting in the way of people most of the time and just overall uncomfortable as she just stares. It’s in a good location and quiet area felt safe sleeping here but for the price I could’ve stayed in another hotel

I have a serious issue with this stay. I have pictures. I was not aware until a few days prior that the hotel was under construction. That doesn’t bother me much. One thing is to pardon their dust and another the conditions and the hygienic part. I found a roach on my bed, I found an old chocolate wrapper under the phone and the conditions of my door were horrendous. To open, I literally had to kick the bottom for it work . The conditions are really out of control. Again “pardon our dust” is one thing, hygiene and detail is filth is another. I took pictures of the door, it appears as if you are staying in the slums. In addition, shower doesn’t even have a place to place your soap, I had no choice but to put on the floor. This is unacceptable and disgusting. Pool area looks forgotten, grass around property super high no maintenance. Oh my God the list goes on. Again, I am not pleased with my stay I am not pleased with what I found and experienced and expect a response and action. Diego

Our beds were missing their blankets and proper pillows. We only had a thin sheet and the 4 decorative pillows. The air conditioner unit was incredibly loud, and in the bedroom itself, and every time it would power down we were awoke to the sounds of grinding metal. There are plenty of places nearby to stay at, don’t include this one.
