The working elevator (the other was broken) was so slow that many used the stairs instead. A friend who checked into another room had an uneaten Subway meatball sandwich in the room... so bizarre. They make you sign up for an app which harvests your phone number and email, just so you can pay $18 per night for parking... I did not sign up and didn't get booted or towed, so the risk is likely low.

The person who checked me in at reception was friendly. The whole problem is with the hotel. I've stayed at other La Quinta hotels and I've never had to pay for parking. The worst part is that there's no security to justify paying for parking. The hotel is very old and has an unpleasant smell in the hallways. Two out of three elevators are out of order, and the one that is working is very slow. When I got to my room, it reeked of marijuana. I asked to be moved to another room, and they did, which I appreciated since I had my family with me. The "breakfast" is more like a cafeteria. There's no food for breakfast other than coffee, bread, and some fruit. Reading the other reviews, I realized that management reads and responds to them, but all the complaints are the same as before, and they haven't improved. It's pointless just to read and respond if they don't fix the problem. I will definitely never stay at this hotel again.

Overall, it was an ok stay. The room was good, bathroom is good, friendly staff. There are some maintenance issues that are of concern. The elevator door scrapes every time the door opens and closes. You can see the rub marks where it happens. Every time the elevator goes above floor 4 you can hear it scrape something on the way up and down. Pretty nerve racking.

Old hotel, negected, and alot of broken fixtures. The elevators were so old only one worked and the other was so rickety, my family and I took the stairs. I'm 62 my husband is 78. We were visiting our son and his family from Colorado, we live in Daytona Beach. Wyndham hotel changes are going down hill fast. Staff friendly

Neighbors in 206 were loud all day and night, walls are too thin, elevators were awful one didn’t work and the other should have been out of order, halls were smelly and cold, breakfast had very few options and no protein and no cold water. Will never stay at this hotel again. Be aware it’s not a good choice.

Stayed in an executive room. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly. However, some upgrades are necessary as parts of the hotel are dated. Not a “Variety” breakfast…..definitely need to fix this. Overall, Hotel is in a great location. May consider it again provided the feedback is catered to.
