The property is really good .clean and good outdoor facilities . My 7 day stay was totally ruined by the pure incompetence of the front desk staff , definitely won’t be staying there again ,purely down to front desk who gave me 3 email addresses for customer care and not one was a correct address .

Be careful of room type

We had booked a 2 bedroom condo and that was not what we got. We had 1 room downstairs and 1 totally separate room upstairs. They were only connected by a stairwell, and each room had its own doors and keys. The office staff were unfriendly and not helpful at all. The owner/manager was very nice and helpful when we finally got to talk to him. The rooms were clean and roomy, they simply were not the room type we had booked.

Barefoot Resort

Late check in and early checkout was the worst part of this stay. You wake up tired and have to rush out of this property. They do not have any Ice on the property and although they had a coffee pot in the room, they did not leave enough sugar or creamer for the coffee. Otherwise it is a nice place for a family and the location was good too.

Stayed at this resort it needs pest control killed roaches for 3 days. Told the front desk and all they could say is sorry. No compensation no change of room. There was hair in the bathroom floor. No ventilation in the bedroom in order to get air in the bedroom thermostat needed to be put on 68 which ment you would freeze in the living room kitchen area. All of this was told to the receptionist

Arrived to check in and the gentleman was on lunch. Only 1 person available to check in? Long morning of travel and we just wanted to get to the room. This is our 2nd incident, prior trip our flight was delayed. Called the property to let them know we would be late….They left and we had no room for the night. Everything about this place is great except that.

Super cute suite, living area, dining area, kitchenette. Washer/dryer, large closet and plenty of dresser space. Huge bathroom. Outdoor pool on the property very clean. Walk to Old Town and check out the shops grab a drink or some dinner or snacks. Great options, live music and amusements for the entire family.

Somewhat Disappointed

It was OK. There are signs posted to "not feed animals" that were ignored. My husband had to fix the shelves in the refrigerator and also had to Google how to adjust thermostat It was locked at 68 degrees He asked at front desk and they said it would stay on all the time. Young people continuously hacking and spitting in pool.

Very nice accommodation with easy walking distance to Old Town. Bed was comfortable. Full kitchen was convenient. Patio was a lovely perk. Watching the alligator and turtles in the pond was a highlight. Pool was above average and had a large hot tub as well. Area around the pool was very clean with loungers and tables for use. Would happily stay here again in future.

We didn't end up staying. I checked with them before we arrived about early check in and they said they would accommodate if possible. When we arrived, we were told no, check in is at 4. We came back later in the afternoon and again told no. I understand that it's based on availability, but they were short and rude and didn't offer to allow us to use the pool and were not at all welcoming. We ultimately decided to stay somewhere else, even though it was non refundable. I was not feeling well and after traveling all day, I just wanted to rest and this was not the place to do it.
