The lower level is designed for family-fun and relaxation. A spacious family room and media area provide additional gathering space, while three extra twin beds offer flexible sleeping arrangements for children or young adults. The main bedroom has its own private bathroom ensuite with a single vanity, walk-in shower and amenties. The second full bathroom is shared by the guest bedrooms upstairs. It offers a shower/tub combo for soaking and extra showers. There is a single vanity and amenities provided. The third full bathroom is on the bottom floor with a large, walk-in shower and single vanity. Upstairs you'll find a powder room for convenience to the common area.

Relax on sun filled decks overlooking 400 feet of private rocky shoreline. The outdoor fireplace creates a cozy gathering space for sunset evenings. Surrounded by five acres of Madrona and Fir trees, the southwest facing home captures stunning year round sunsets. The dining room has its own private deck with a beautiful, concrete outdoor table and seating. The gas BBQ is located off of this deck for grilling.
The living room has its own private deck with an outdoor fireplace and Adirondack seating. This space gives Happy Hour a whole new level.

Grounds & Privacy
Set at the end of the road with a private driveway, Hook’s Nest offers exceptional privacy while remaining just minutes from the ferry. The natural setting blends beautifully with the home’s sustainable Craftsman design. Though we have 400ft of waterfront, there is no beach or direct access to the water. Our shoreline is a rocky, mid-height bluff looking out to the Wasp Passage and Crane Island. There are fun trails through the madrona tree forest with seating along the way.

We highly recommend bringing your own vehicle or renting a car once you arrive via ferry. While Orcas Island is walkable in some areas, many of the island’s most scenic spots—like Moran State Park, Cascade Lake, and Turtleback Mountain—are best reached by car.

Please make sure to check the home carefully before checkout. Any personal items left behind may be returned upon request; however, a minimum $25 handling fee plus the cost of postage will apply. This fee covers the time required to locate, package, and coordinate the shipment of the item.
