It was ok. Kind of rundown. Had to switch rooms due to bed being dirty. Bathroom was old looking and we didn’t get any face towels. Ok for one night. Also didn’t know that breakfast and the gym were not available and that’s the main reason we booked it.

Safe but older

The hotel felt safe and convenient for what we needed. The rooms are old- doors get stuck, bathroom is old, toilet didn’t work, lights are very yellow and walls are dingy. Could tell it used to be a nice hotel. Now it needs a lot of upgrading. Staff was very kind.

We had 5 guests registered and only 2 towels were provided. No sheets for the sofa. Bed which was absolutely disgusting. No guest service person when we went to get more towels or linens. No answer to several phone calls to front desk

Should be requires for current photos of property’s. Room facility’s pools jacuzzi’s to updated minimum of every month or 2. Clearly house keeping needs training on cleanliness. Pool needs service and Hot tub wasn’t working. Spiders found in room and weird smells. Will not use this location again.

What was supposed to be a safe stay for me and my child turned into a nightmare. The manager is not a professional — he’s a shady con artist who hides behind the Buena Park Police Department when questioned on deceptive unlawful practices. He denied us an itemized receipt, then retaliated when we pushed for answers, ultimately wrongfully evicting us. According to police, he “can technically trespass any guest for no reason.” That alone should be a red flag. The head of housekeeping runs the facility like a detention center — she was angry that we asked for clean linens and later accused us of damaging a bath mat just because it was dirty. Pest control and cleanliness are clearly not a priority This is not just my experience according to 11 BBB complaints and numerous recent guests are saying at Buena Park Grand. Yelp reviews from 2025, here’s what others had to say: • “There were cockroaches and spiders in the room.” (May 25, 2025 – 1 star) • “Very musty smell and we had beetles on the floor when we got in.” (May 19, 2025 – 2 stars) • “Dirty. Terrible leak in bathroom that was so dangerous.” (May 7, 2025 – 1 star) • “Old food under the bed… spiders in the bathroom… broken TV.” (May 26, 2025) • “The front desk cussed at us… room was old and dated.” (May 10, 2025) • “The manager told me I had 30 mins to leave or he was calling the cops!” (March 25, 2025) Expedia, shame on you! You should not be doing business with a hotel that operates this way.
