Our Koru Apartment is one of 3 apartments at Waterview Apartments in Mimice old town. Koru means new beginnings/new life and is derived from the New Zealand Maori language. The name was chosen after our move to Croatia from New Zealand. It is a spacious property with gardens and terraces and has a newly built pool.
Free private parking is available.
It is quiet and perfect for relaxing yet close to beautiful pebble beaches with the clearest water and activities and lies in between the towns of Omiš and Makarska. It has views to the island of Brać.

Traumurlaub in Mimice

Die Appartmentanlage liegt ruhig gelegen in Steilhanglage mit spekatulärer Sicht auf das Meer und die Insel Brac. Sie besteht aus 4 Wohneinheiten, davon wird eine Wohneinheit von den Vermietern selbst bewohnt. Hermien und Steve waren super tolle Gastgeber, von der Anfahrt über den Check-In war die Kommunikation perfekt. Hermien stand uns während des gesamten Urlaubs für Tipps, Buchungen z.B. für Boots-Trips oder Restaurantreservierungen immer hilfsbereit zur Verfügung. Das Appartment ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail und mit allem was man benötigt ausgestattet. Vom Pool hat man einen grandiosen Ausblick auf die Insel Brac. Die gesamte gepflegte Anlage ist in Terrassenform angelegt und es gibt mehrere verschiedene Sitzmöglichkeiten, von wo man den Ausblick geniesen kann. Kiesstrand mit kristallklarem Wasser und Einkaufsmarkt sind in ca. 5 Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen. Dort und im kleinen Hafen von Mimice gibt es Bars und Restaurants, aber alles in einer gesamt ruhigen Atmosphäre. Liebe Hermien und Steve - wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Danke für einen tollen Urlaub

Als u op zoek bent naar de perfectie in Kroatië...

Waterview Appartments (Mimice, Kroatië) in 1 woord samenvatten lukt ons niet… tenzij als volgt: “perfecte stek op perfecte locatie met de perfecte gastheer en gastvrouw”. Wij (Eduard en Annemie, Belgisch koppel) verbleven 1 week in “Koru”, het gelijkvloerse appartement van de accommodatie die Steve (een Nieuw-Zeelander) en Hermien (van oorsprong een Nederlandse) sinds 2018 uitbaten. Urenlang installeerden wij ons op het terrasje van “Koru”, om er te “chillen” en te genieten van een wondermooi uitzicht op de Adriatische zee, zeegroen of kobaltblauw, heel rustig of een beetje golvend, maar altijd schitterend ! Mindfullness aan de volle 100% ! Het appartement zelf is ruim, licht, gerieflijk (er lagen zelfs twee strandlakens voor ons klaar!) maar vooral heel smaakvol ingericht: een knusse slaapkamer met kingsize-bed, een praktische, prettige badkamer en een stijlvolle, gezellige woonkamer met keukenhoek waarin je alles terugvindt om zelf te koken (maar er zijn zoveel goede restaurantjes in de buurt dat we dit nauwelijks gedaan hebben). De perfecte uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes in de omgeving of relaxte namiddagjes op één van de vele kleine mooie kiezelstrandjes in en rond Mimice. Bij de accommodatie hoort ook een zwembad: klein maar fijn, ideaal voor een frisse duik als je maar 5 meter ver wilt gaan. Tot slot nog even over Hermien en Steve: een betere gastvrouw en gastheer zul je niet gauw vinden ! Tips i.v.m. leuke uitstapjes in de buurt of de beste restaurants kwamen als vanzelf tot bij ons. Altijd waren ze 'in the mood' voor een gezellige babbel, maar nooit liepen ze je voor de voeten: kortom 2 super-fijne mensen ! Wij denken met een tikkeltje heimwee, maar bovenal met een brede smile van voldoening terug aan onze vakantie in Waterview Appartments ! Annemie & Eduard
