This a beautiful property but the landscaping is not being maintained. You cannot see the Ramada sign at the entry for the weeds. It is in the process of being remodeled while still open. The staff and rooms are wonderful. The lobby and breakfast are wonderful. I wish Wyndam would give it the attention it deserves. It is in a very convenient neighborhood, but just needs a clean up.

The staff at this Ramada was excellent. The room we finally got was clean. However, the exterior of the hotel has been neglected for a long time, and the interior seems to be a work in progress. The first room we got had a broken toilet seat, so we got moved to a different room. The air conditioning in the second room was not working, so they moved us to a third room. The AC was also malfunctioning in that room, so they moved us back to the second room and tried to fix the AC. It didn't work. But they did get it working in the third room, and we moved back into that room. Like I said, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean and comfortable (once the AC was working). The wi dows were very dirty however (part of the exterior neglect). They are doing renovations in the hotel, it seems, but there were quite a few things "out of order ", like one of the elevators, the ice machine, bathroom by fitness room. Hopefully the renovations will continue and they will improve the landscaping and exterior of the hotel. But since the staff was great and our room was clean, we can't complain.

Extremely disappointed in the property.

When we arrived, we checked in and then we’re informed that the water would be shut off at 10 PM due to work to be done and hopefully on by the morning. We were also told when we asked that the pool and hot tub were in operable and had been that way for months. None of this was shown or explained when we made the reservation online through hotels.com. We are hoping tomorrow to have water when we wake up and to have the breakfast as shown in the hotels.com app. When we arrive to our room, a key was not necessary as the door was wide open. The room was OK but the floor was sticky.

Avoid. A disaster.

Some floors closed due to construction. The construction crew triggered the fire alarm Saturday morning so we all exited. No one from the hotel ever announced we could re-enter. The recliner in my room was 30 years old and had large rips. The shower curtain was too short or hung 4 inches too high, so rheumatoid shower produced a flood. Skip this place. You don't want to stay here. Seriously... RUN.

The room was clean with clean bedding. Shower was perfect. Breakfast choices while we stayed were waffles, cereal, fruits, omelet and bacon. Staff at check-in was friendly and had everything ready for us when we got there.

Well it’ll probably be a nice place to stay when they are done with renovations but unfortunately that’s not when I stayed there. Apparently I was the first person to stay in this room which probably explains why there was no dead bolt lock, no microwave, no coffee machine, and no window screens. Which goes into my next point, is that the A/C didn’t work. If you turned cool on the heat turned on, and if you turned the heat on well hell itself turned on!! I was forced to sleep with the window open to have any form of comfort but then the bug’s & mosquito came. I asked for a different room and was told none were available but yet about 2 hours later I witnessed another guest being moved due to heat conditions.

Indoor pool/hot tub were broken and was not accessible. Staff said it’s been broke for several months. ice machines were not working, staff didn’t have a back up plan for guests to have ice. We had to go to the convenience store for ice and drinks. Whatever was going on down on the 2nd floor left a horrible chemical smell in my room on the 3rd floor. It smelled like carpet glue. The staff was friendly but were not able to help other than to say “It’s a corporate issue”. The housekeeping did a great job as my room was very clean.

Construction

The man at the front desk was lovely and that was the only saving grace. The hotel is under construction, which was never mentioned when I booked my stay. It was filthy with debris all over the floor both in the hallway and in my room. There were lots of construction workers wandering around and the noise was terrible. The room itself was bad - a sofa with foam coming out, chipped furniture, etc. I cancelled for cleanliness and safety reasons and stayed elsewhere.

Our disappointing stay

First of all, we were not made aware the hotel was in the throws of refurbishing the facility until we arrived. Every day there was another issue, starting with no heat or air in our room and ending up with no ice for us to take up to our room. The phone in our room did not work, we had no glasses in our room and we were advised if we wanted our room tidied up, we had to plan ahead and request maid service the day before. Other issues included us paying a nightly visits the font desk nightly. The staff really was trying to help all of us; however, no coffee in the morning dining area was a large problem and some of us joked we should have gone to Fred Meyer and bought the hotel a coffee machine. That night, we wanted ice but the one working ice machine wasn’t working. If it hadn’t been so frustrating, it was almost funny! We have stayed at the Ramada several times in recent years, with no issues. However, this visit was less than good. Had we known they were in the middle of refurbishing the hotel, we would have at least asked questions prior to securing a reservation.

The property was still undergoing renovations to the hallways and room had a "new carpet" smell to it. It wasn't overwhelming and we kind of got used to it. We also only booked for one night. Oh and the pool and hot tub were closed. Beautiful hotel and would probably stay again if we visit the area.

It was a fine stay but the pool doesn’t work the hot tub doesn’t work and the elevator didn’t work and the ice machine on the third floor didn’t work. The tvs hardly worked but almost impossible to find any real channels. Whole second floor is under construction and parts of the ceilings were missing a long the third floor. No coffee machine or cups or blow dryer in the room. I booked this hotel specifically cause of their big pool so my nieces would be entertained and my grandma could chill in the room. They should communicate very clearly on their website and etc. that they are under construction and a lot of the amenities that are available are actually unavailable. I feel like I should’ve paid half the price for the stay at this hotel.

Baseball Tournament

Hotel was close to everything. Went through or going through an update. Service was good breakfast was good. Only complaint was even though downstairs meetinf area was big and comfortable the hotel dodnt allow using remote to watch the tv that was around the fire place. Huge bummer to have friends hanging out with np access to the tv in the lobby. Would I stay agin. Probably but that was the only issue.
