Well situated small hotel in the centre of Olney, the on-site parking was full, so we had to park on the road outside which was ok. The room was interesting with the sink and shower in the room, it was very warm in the room and not possible to open the windows fully as there was a family of pigeons nesting outside, some of their feathers were in the room. We didn’t have dinner in the hotel but breakfast the next morning was a bit hit and miss, the menu looked good with plenty of choice. There was only one chef and one server and we had to wait a long time to have our order taken and then after about 10 minutes were told there were no pancakes and the chef couldn’t make them! The coffee was good and the food also but it took nearly an hour to have breakfast

One of my favourite hotels to stay in the area when away on business, great food and breakfast quirky and boutique style rooms only thing lets it down for me is limited on site parking.

The Bull Hotel is located in a grade 2 heritage listed building, so it's not a modern hotel, but the room was clean and large enough. The staff were wonderful and the included breakfast was wonderful. All in all, it was an enjoyable stay.

Nice hotel with unprofessional staff.

Nice hotel, but staff are unprofessional, at checking they might as well have just thrown the keys at me. Five members of staff but not one asked if they could help when we arrived. Only four people at breakfast, but still took 30 minutes to put avocado and an egg on toast.

Genuinely lovely stay.

Our stay was better than I expected. The staff were really great and our room was nice. The pub itself was a great place to relax and our evening meal and breakfast was delicious. Wish we could have stayed more than one night as the village too looked like a lovely place to explore. I will definitely stay again if the occasion arises to be in that are as this time we were attending Santapod raceway and the Bull was a great base for us as a family with a 4 year old.

Lovely food and comfortable rooms. Staff are great, nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are very cosy when the heating is on but chilly first thing in the morning. Heating could do with being on earlier.

After a slight false start due to the first room having a broken tap, we were housed in a great room. It was tastefully decorated and comfortable, with everything we needed. The bed though spacious was a little firm for our liking.

Saturday night away

Stayed at the Bull pub We’ve stayed there before, room was at the front of the pub with no road noise at all. Room was spacious comfortable and really clean, nice big shower and very private. Considering the restaurant/pub was below us there was no noise. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely comfortable room except for the bathroom, shower leaked and sprayed water everywhere and was either freezing or boiling. Check in was slow and not welcoming, we were told breakfast was at 7:30 and so hung around to feed the kids before setting off on a long drive to find the whole place in darkness and the guest info stating it was 8:30 so had to leave without having it as couldn’t hang around for another hour. Service in the restaurant was slow and again not too friendly, we were made to feel like an inconvenience.
